Good, positive thread.

So who does everyone have as their top 3?

1. Heath Scotland
2. Brend Fevola
3. Kade Simpson/Andrew Walker

Yes, I think Scotto will win his first John Nicholls Medal.

Heath Scotland has been in my opinion our most consistently good player this season and deserves it.

1.) Heath Scotland
2.) Brendan Fevola
3.) Lance Whitnall (but will lead at half way)
4.) Kade Simpson

I'm tipping the votes for round 22 are lost by the club and its called a non result.

I think Whitnall and Houlihan really tapered off as the season concluded, Whitnall for form and Houlihan because he had to go back to playing back pocket or defender given how few players of that type we have. Plus Pagans passion for turning us all into taggers (I scragged my girlfriend the other day and blamed Pagan).

Fevola will get some big votes and Simpson and Scotland will get lots of mid ranking votes.

Stevens will fall completely off the radar, as will Lappin, Kouta and Teague (big pollers over the past few years) so either way the younger players should poll well.

1. Fevola
2. Scotland
3. Simpson

interestingto see what Sticks' address at the BnF will be.. and how it will impact.
I hope it doesnt take anything away from the players.. the real reason why the night is on.

The funny thing with the B&F is that the MC give votes according to who has played well, and who has played their role well.

Subsequently, I think Scotland, Simpson and Walker will poll very highly as they are 'role-players' in the team. They clerarly have specific roles each week and look to execute them.

Walker - rebounding defender.
Scotland -Sweeper.
Simpson - playmaker, with licence to break lines.

Whitnall will lead at half-way because he was outstanding. Fev will poll consistently all year, but I wonder how many BOG-style votes he'll get?
