I'm still in the dark why the pin was pulled?

Who was having a go at whom?

Did it justify the ending of the site?

Were people too precious?

Someone fill me in please.

I already did check that out.

That's how I found my way here.

But it's a little short on detail.

By the way, what happened to the money we gave for player sponsorship?

dom reckons the sponsorship money has gone to the club, and all thats left is $124 for next years site fees, which he will probably just donate to the club.

it's a long long long story as to why it actually go closed down. i'll leave that to someone else though

The sponsorship money has been paid to Carlton I believe, so technically anyone who contributed can still tell their frined that they sponsor Karl.

I'm not implying any impropriety.

It's just that Karl is being sponsored by an entity that no longer exists and so the exposure is wasted.

I'm with George Harris, I was away on Friday got back Monday morning and got the shock of my life when I read TBV was closed. I actually thought it might be a practical joke so I waited and waited and waited.

Can anyone fill me in on some detail without getting peoples noses out of joint. We would hate for this whole unfortunate episode to ever happen again.

Don't worry George, I didn't think you were having a go. By the way, the sooner you get your old avatar back, the better!

:D

BLUZ05, it is too big an event for a simple explanation. Suffice to say that GoBaggers exercised his right as the owner of the site to close it down.

It was a devasting event for a lot of us (have you ever seen a camel mope? ).

Hopefully we can all put it past us, and either TC, CBN, or CSC will help to cater to the voracious appetites of Blues supporters.

The Carlton board on BigFooty seems to have the most accurate and concise explanation.

OK, so here's what I found...

Quote:
Basically there was a heated argument between GoBaggers and 3 or 4 others about future direction of the site. Insults and insinuations flying around. One of the members got banned for insulting GB, a few others left and then 5 or 6 were haveing a go at GB for his treatment of posters. He decided to close the site 6pm today even though he was only dealing with a handful of people. The disappointing thing is he pulled the plug early because a few people were organizing to keep in contact after the site closed. It was an A grade Dummy spit in the end.

Plus plenty of posts from Deej saying how "dissapointed" and "gutted" he is.

At Synbad? At Surrey? At nothing?
