Wonder if the boys will spend Mad Monday up in Sin City?

Some of our Sydney TCers better keep a lookout for their well being.

Is Fev still off the drink :? Hope Harts, Carrotts and all the boys have a great couple of days & relax a bit but STAY OUT OF TROUBLE & THE PAPERS!!!!!!!!

Will there be any intra-club punch ups?

Do you think there might... I thought these Mad Mondays were mainly players not coaches also. 8)

Here's a sneak preview.

This is when the players all form a circle and burn an effigy of Denis Pagan...

I hope they enjoy themselves, let their hair down in a controlled way, and then realise what it takes too be the best and within 2 - 4 weeks are back into their own training too make THEMSELVES the bets they can be.

Hope they actually become a little taller than young Eddie, but maybe sharpen up their skills to his level maybe.

The majority of those senior players not required to front up next week for the VFL are staying overnight in Sydney.

Rumour has it that even Flinty, MM and big Josh are going to Sydney and staying over after a senior player put his hand in his pocket to help out with the price of airfares and accom for them.

Terrific gesture, that - if this is indicative of the team's off-field spirit, then we're travelling okay in that respect. Any chance of a hint as to who the white knight may be?

I'd put my money on one Brendan Fevola.

I'd be a little concerned if the boys couldn't afford it themselves, but wonderful gesture by the senior player, whoever it was.

An attempt to win the captaincy perhaps?

Then again, at 400K, one night accomodation and airfare for about $1000 each alcohol included for 3 players is pretty short change - tax deductible too probably.

Mad Monday in Sydney with Bullants players all flying up to the game on Sunday if they win on Saturday to join the boys as they will have a week off then.

Brad, I think some of the boys might have other things at the moment that they are putting their money towards, particularly Flinty who as a Rookie doesn't get paid a lot and also is waiting to hear if he has a job next year.

And as most of the players will be back on Monday I think they were happy to wait for then. A lot cheaper for an 18 year old!

It was a nice gesture by X, and greatly appreciated by the boys involved.

A little birdie at Qantas told me player X used his FFP's to help out. That's all.

I don't think it is my place to name him but let me say he has copped some heavy criticism around here this year and yet he is one of the best clubmen we have. There are a number of other stories around the club about him doing similar things this year that haven't been mentioned.

He has a huge heart and is a terrific guy. If we can get him some help people might get off his back.

Regards Cazzesman
