Not sure - ever since the weekend I have had to continually refresh to obtain the latest articles. It seems to keep coming up with Monday's articles on the initial download.

techies - is this something they can fix?

Notice that Kouta, Stevens etc. have been kicked off the masthead for the site.

Now it is Walker, Murphy and Simmo! :-D :-D

No trouble accessing the site either, but eBay auction link is not up to date - still says that match-worn guernseys are up for auction. And, as others have said before, the Carlton Shop link rarely works smoothly.

It hasn't been updating normally....

Don't know why, but to get the "latest " news including the Great articless for TC contributors you need to go to the "Club news secton"...or better ...follow the links from TC.

The "Good News" is that Telstra "sold" the management of it from Sportal to some mob that no-one's heard of from....you guessed it Sydney! (under some complex subby type arrangements)

Apparently Sportal AND the AFL are mighty pissed of but can't do anything about it....
Interesting times methinks

Hold down Control and F5 for an updated copy of the site to be forced from the web site host, not the ISP/Work caching proxies.

It's club policy to be as late as possible with any news on their website.

That's why TC and others exist...

And on top of that it's Telstra policy to snap up the rights to sports internet, offering the world, delivering a Melways, and making the shoddiest piece of garbage imaginable in the process.

I have to admit to not noticing any problems with the site.

It appears to be an issue related to my browser (Firefox) - for some reason it no longer recognises the bookmark I had for the site (www.carltonfc.com.au)
, but works fine with IE. so just a glitch with my system it seems.

Cheers

Flush your cache, and that should get it working again.

Yes carltonfc.com.au is currently experiencing a number of
cacheing issues that may cause some content not being refreshed
automatically when published on the site. This is a Telstra issue and we
are among a large number of clubs this is affecting. Sportal will be
refreshing the website regularly to ensure any content published is
able to be viewed by visitors to the site. However sometimes visitors'
own computers may not be able to see the refreshed content despite the
site operating correctly. Therefore if you see old content on a page
please do a hard refresh - "Crtl + f5 " to see the latest content. You
should only have to do this once.

Official response in relation to the problem as raised in this thread,

M
