A couple of interesting points:

Denied that club champion Stephen Silvagni had ever been offered a job by the board or its management.

PS: Who are the Kangarros?

Amateur hour to air that sort of dirty linen in public. A president is ultimately responsible for his board.

Is Smorgon going to ever take any responsibility for anything?

Still pissing myself 'sneaky leakers'.

Well if we were not the laughing stock before we are now.

Smorgy's face and a bumper sticker

BEWARE SNEAKY LEAKERS!

could be a money raising coup for the club

He didn't by any chance say "I want to reiterate that Denis Pagan has the full support of the board", did he?

Agree that airing the dirty linen in a public arena like that is not good.

But apart from that, and based only on the quotes given in that article, a lot of what Smorgon says makes sense.

Doesn't mean he's the right man for the job mind, but the club does need to unite. And quickly!

Just heard it - what do we have amateur hour? What the hell is that? In a public forum? Sadly the plot has been lost. Where is the considered response? Sticks is yesterday's man.
This is the 21st century and Carlton are in a national competition. Sounds like a country footy night after they have all been on the piss! In fact it would even be embarassing there.

For me that actually sums up Kernahan. Great footballer but I've never heard him say anything that doesn't come across as the sort of thing you'd hear down at the local footy club.

And he's the one we're all supposed to look up to.

I'd just about swap him for Grant Thomas at the moment...

Brings back the notion that a great footballer makes a great coach - NO! So as great a player as he was, does not mean he will be a good administrator. There is a constant to the poor decsion making over the past 10 years - Stephen Kernahan. Can anyone deny that?
