To sum it up,.................he is feeling somewhat embaressed about ever being a part of this football club after the events of this week. Said that NOTHING good will come of this for the Club, Denis or Mitchell. Very emmotional but truthfull attack. |

He was spot on and I emailed him to tell him that. Called us the "bad news blues" and deservedly thumped the Board. |

Said a few things...one of which was WHAT WENT ON between the time the Board had decided to axe Pagan, and interview Mitchell, and the time they had their about face and voted 10-0 to keep Pagan??? He wants to know, as we all do, what preciptated the change. That kind of change doesn't happen for no reason...so what was the reason???? Was it AFL intervention? Or something else? Btw....does anyone remember the Collingwood review this time last year? Sad to say...but off the field, they do things the right way...a way that was are completely incapable of. |

Good on him for speaking up, hopefully he didn't take the Fraser Brown approach of throwing his mate's names in at every opportunity. |

If every ex Carlton player was like Fraser Brown, we'd have the strongest club in the AFL. Imagine being willing to hand over $600,000 of your own hard-earned money to steer the club in the direction you thought it needed to go. Not even our Supreme Leader and one of Australia's richest men is willing to put in that much. |

If every player was like Fraser Brown we'd be in a bidding war to see how much we can sell ourselves out for. The fact that no one in this allegedly sordid affair cannot behave amicably, approach the board like grown men and discuss ways they can all rebuild this club speaks volumes for both sides. Surely there's no shame in not being up to the task. You'll be forever hailed for making the right moves, whether that be to stand aside or to put your name forward. Throwing cash bids around to get your way, or even just allowing it to appear that way is a stupid approach, no matter what the person's intentions are. |

Under immense pressure, Browny didn't say a word. NOT A SINGLE F*CKING WORD. Dog may be a lot of things, a sellout isn't one of them. |

Jim, you couldn't be further from the truth regarding Brown. Seriously, the guy's proposal was straightforward: Pagan's lost it. The players don't respect him anymore and it's not working. I know you can't afford to pay him out, so if you get rid of him and bring up the guy who's coaching most of the young kids quite successfully in the bullies, I'll pay for his golden parachute. Oh, and if that happens, guys like Ratts and Dean would be willing to come into the fold. Take it or leave it. And you think he's done something wrong? Mate, if all he wants to do is pump up his mates, there are shitloads of easier and CHEAPER ways to do that than sinking 600 grand of your own money into a football club. What should he have done? Just written a cheque for 600 grand and handed it to Lorraine Diggins to spend on some new Australian art for the changing room walls? |

Brown is behaving like a dictator, and using money (the resource we need the most along with innovative ideas) as a tool to have his way. If that's not what he's doing, then he better drop his ideas about who should jump on board. |

There's nothing wrong with what Brown did. It's wrong to think that just because Brown did it it was the right decision. |

Cmon Jim - dictator? He sees a problem and offers a solution. Take or reject. They rejected. Dictators tend to lop your balls off at the same time. |

JohnM, he should attempt to form a ticket, and discuss ideas with them. If he agrees with what the ticket is about, help them get into power and sink his 600k into the club once they're onboard. That's what you do. Pratt was halfway there with his move. If these people are not satisfied with the direction of the board, form a ticket, change the hierarchy, THEN fund it. |
