Will it be a destabilising force when it comes to our few current blue-chip players like Fevola, who has played this year like Pagan's life has depended on his output.

We know of Fevola's connection with Denis, and I hope that if push does come to shove, that Fev doesn't chuck in the towel and go back to his old ways..

Fevs performances this year are due to his promise to his wife. If I was Fev I wouldn't be reverting back to old habits unless he wants a right royal caning by his better half

I would imagine that it is all part of the review process Sticks and Bear have conducted. Surely part of their charter is to do a cost / benefit analysis on the playing list and determine the impact if Pagan stays or goes? I would also imagine that part of their charter would be to canvass key personel within the organisation with respect to the possible outcomes. I would consider Fev a key employee of the CFC and his thoughts should have been canvassed.
Is that too much to expect? Is that what happens in a review?
I'm sure Sticks and Bear have the answers.

OK, thatnks. It was just a question which came to mind.

Good points about the promises to his Wife, and the SWOT analysis being done. Hopefully it will be done properly and professionally

My post is tongue in cheek. I don't think Sticks would have done anything like I suggested. Just like I think when it is all done there will be no interviews for the new coach or there may be interviews by they will be Claytons interviews.

Were flying

...also, will it change the delistees for 2007? What impact would it have on the list...would a new Coach be more in favour of the running style and set about reducing our list of mid-paced mids? Would a new Coach see the ruck as a main weakness or be more like Thomas?

Would a new Coach go outof his way to restructure the list for 2010 or just make piecemeal changes?

Would special Denis recruits like McLaren be in trouble?

Lots of questions!

Precisely.

It's not as easy as some people seem to think. There are massive ramifications from any decision on the Coaching position at Carlton.

Because he is the messiah?
Because we wont have the chance to follow process?

BECAUSE THE ELLIOTT GROUP SCREWED US. WE ARE STILL FEELING THE PAIN OF IT ALL. DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT WITH THE CURRENT LIST THAT WE HAVE WE SHOULD BE HIGHER ON THE LADDER. WE WONT MAKE THE 8 FOR 2 TO 3 YEARS. ANOTHER COACH AINT GOING TO DO SHIT. WITH BETTER DRAFT PICKS OUR LIST WILL IMPROVE AND IN FUTURE SO WILL OUR ON FIELD PERFORMANCES.

IF YOU DONT HAVE A GOOD LIST 9 TIMES OUT OF TEN YOU WILL FINISH
LAST.
