It's friggin laughable really.

The decision to go through with the review process is probably not a bad one. Buy why induce the meedyah circus and make a statement that a press conference will be held to say NOTHING!

J-O-K-E!

If they dont have confidence in Dennis they should have announced it and then stated we will look for the best available candidate over a review this would then at least show they are making decisions

Instead looks like they have no clue and looking for more help ... isnt the board voted to make decisions ...

Anyway agreed pissweek

But if DP had the boards backing would have been announced tonite the fact wasnt means he is more likely gone

Or keep his assistants?

Rabble.

What I get out of this is Pagan looks gone, but the majority of the board aren't happy for Mitchell to fill he senior role, therefore will be interviewing McKenna, Longmire, Pyke, and maybe one or two more to decide if there's a suitable candidate amongst them, hence another week or so.

Sit tight - I did say this pre-season is going to be a bumpy ride.

Spot on! What a great way 2 entice out of contract and highly rated youngsters 2 our club. Maybe you will be coached and you might have a board will balls behind you. Absolute joke and laughing stock once again

And the Board will interview them? Diggins will ask Pyke about his interest in post-modernism and Rose will ask McKenna about financials.

The Board will have to ask through the footy people, Gleeson and Kernahan, and they have aleady made up their mind.

1 week wont solve the process.

pagan should get a commitment on the funds and walk.

But youre assuming the board have a brain.. and not going for Mitchell is wise... but we all know better than that dont we????

they just want a name to give them answers... Mich wasnt a name they could lean on.... theyre just a bunch of weaklings..

The whole board is hopeless, Synners. They need to be turfed out and fast - problem is we need a rival ticket that will provide and bring back unity to the club.

This board has created nothing but controversy and embarassment to the club.

Theyre after a big name coach to bail them out of all this....

How pathetic.

the coach should be someone that can help develop the kids.. nothing else...

I reckon Coaches in waiting will still be chasing the gig ... it aint easy for the assistant coaches and coaches in waiting to get a senior gig..

Look at Royal / Harvey and sure a few others they been waiting in the wings for years ... Senior coaching posts not easy to get these days..

Look at the line up in system

Woosher - Safe
Craig - Safe
Eade - Safe
malthouse - as long as he wants it
Sheedy - semi safe
Grant - whats his names bedbuddy safe as long as Butters is there
Wallet - safe
Conells - Safe
Roos - very safe
Lethal - Safish - 3 Premierships
Daniher - semi safe depending on finals
Williams - safe

Clarko - Safe
Laidley - Shakey
Thompson - Shakey
DP - Shakey - Gone

Senior coaching gigs these days and with some of the recent re-appointments not easy to get

So any budding coach in waiting would grab if given a chance

Every time I feel we have bottomed out somebody seems to find a new way to flower it up and plunge deeper into the orifice of mediocrity. At least we are consistent I guess!
