Not a fan of this show but there's not much else on so I tuned in to see Rod Ashman interviewed. Great to hear him talk about exactly what my Carlton supporting family have told fullmont & I since we were old enough to listen. The players were told to never accept losing to Collingwood & Richmond. They used to have team dinners before the games & that was something that was impressed upon them. Kevin Bartlett asked who would say this & Ashy said the players, coaching staff, past players, match commitee, president & supporters!! It was just not accepted to lose to them..

A timely reminder considering this weekends game & the reason why Carlton, Collingwood, Richmond & Essendon* are the most important teams in the league.

And that my friends is the reason why I hate Collingwood more than anything. Ever.
