Hopefully we will keep the strongest position in whats rumoured to be the strongest draft for a while. Also first pick in the Pre Season Draft is not a bad thing Its all about short term pain for long term Premierships You can start the abuse now |

Essendon* at full strength are probably better than we are and I wasnt dissapointed to see them win tonight. If we could get first pick in both drafts I think we will have the last laugh over the bombers with a premiership down the track...good to see players like Bolton and Peverill do well..hopefully they will be retained on the bombers list for a couple more years. |

Will we use the PSD to our advantage...? depends whats available....Dylan Mclaren, Brent Guerra etc were not exactly top shelf last time we had a chance tos core some free talent... Aker will be a trade deal and involve some decent draft picks as well as paying 400K a year for his services...no thanks... |

Given we have finished last, second last, tenth, last and probably last this year, 2004 cancels out our loss of draft picks, to be at the bottom for four years like we have and to have picked up so many players early in the draft (Murphy, Russell, Walker, Kennedy, 2006 pick) the trade off should be four premierships within the next eight years. Anything less will be a waste of time. |

And you call yourselves supporters? You are all flower disgraceful. How can you barrack for a team and hope they win the wooden spoon? If you really supported them, you would want them to beat the Dockers tomorrow to show that we are a great team. We have always been a great team and by hearing that we want Gibbs or any of those others, I feel ashamed to be on this board with such morons who only want the PPs and draft picks. Why do I go for Carlton? They are a great team. Great players and great attitude all round. I know last week we drew with the Scum (I was dissappointed too), but this week we can beat the Dockers and put the Scum back on the bottom where they belong. Going for Carlton we always hope that something like this comes along. The year we put either Collingwood or Essendon* on the bottom of the ladder and hear others call them crap and what not. I don't want to hear it about my team, I love my team and hope every week they win. I love shouting things out to the Scum calling them wooses and losers. It's the joy of being a Carlton supporter. Yelling/Screaming "WEEEEEEEEE AREEEEEEEEE THE NAVY BLUESSSSSSSSSSS" after a win is one of the best feelings in the world. Maybe that should be my wedding song
Oh and for those that tip against us week after week, you are lame. I tip Carlton week after week, even though I know they could lose or will lose. I sacrafice my tips to show how much I love my team. So, I don't go to the footy often, I still come on here or watch them on TV. Yes I get yelled at coz I talk to the TV, but hey, that's the fun in being a supporter. If you want the PPs, then don't call yourself a supporter, call yourself a backseater coz some of us here actually have faith in the boys and some of us love them no matter how shit they truely are. |
