By the sounds of that he needs a rest, pity the lure of the coleman will spur him on.

As I said in talking Players he said his groin was going again but that he would see out the year. It was noticable during this week and last that he stabbed at the ball if within 30 metres and was constantly streching his groin when the ball was down the other end.

When he isn't making the distance from just outside 50 like he normally does, you know something's not right. I think that the damage might be a permanent restriction for him going forward

He looked like he hurt it again after a marking contest half-way through the third quarter (Southern stand side on the 50m mark - City end). He was with the trainers for a few minutes and continually stretched afterwards.

What exactly is wrong with his groins? Is it that osteitis pubis (spelling?) or a tear or what???

on the positive it'll probably stop him from playing nfl because he's already mentioned that he wouldnt mind doing it.

What was the operation about pre-season if it didn't fix the problem?

He still ran quite well when he was chasing Peverill in the last quarter.

He might have re-aggrevated it. In 2004, he was regularly dobbing goals from 55m out with ease. He appears to have lost a bit of length on his kicking from far out and a groin strain or injury would be a definite cause of that. I would love Fev to get the Coleman but if the injury gets any worse then I would prefer the club to get him in for repairs then push for that award. The hand appears to be manageable but the knee and groin injury need to be managed with proper caution

Footy is a team game & I think it's very unhealthy the way we always go to Fev. We have to spread the load up forward and use the other options which will in turn ease the stress on Fevola.
We need someone at the helm to create a better structure.
