Deluca and sporn out but sure enough they will be back next week.
How many chances should we give them if you are dropped 5 times from the team in 1 season it is a pretty good indication your not up to it.
I am sure Arch and sporn arent to suprised or upset about being dropped they know its only for 1 week.
With only a few months to go lets truly see what our up and comers can do
rather than continue our recycle policy - clearly it hasnt worked thus far

I think Sporn might have run out of chances. I'd be surprised if he ever gets another game now.

De Luca had a few reasonable games & had shown some improvement but hard to see a spot for him atm.

Lappin would be more likely to return next week if he plays well in the VFL.

If Sporn comes back into this team i'll be mega pissed!

Usually i'm not happy with the MC & their weekly selections but this week i was very impressed.
Not so much with the in's....................................but with the Not-In's.

Prenda & Teauge had great games for the Bullants last week but i would have been very upset if they had been brought into the seniors.
Great choice for not promoting them. They will be great VFL players, but that's it.

I continue to wonder why on earth we persist with Sporn. My kelpie would be better on a wing than him. Keep him with the Bullants and at least he can be delisted at the end of the year with a VFL premiership medal.

As for De Luca, the bloke makes a baby giraffe look co-ordinated. Lets just hope Waite stays healthy so he never wears the baggers jumper again.

Good to see Bryan finally get a game.

Are you serious?? There is one bloke brought into the side whose desperation and hunger leaves a lot to be desired. At the very least we would get that from young Jordon Russell. Shite selections - our MC lacks guts.

There's no doubt in my mind Sporn is done as a senior player. Surely you can't blame the match committee for trying various options while senior players are un-available through injury??

With Waite, Kouta and Fish back in the 22 someone needs to go and they are the obvious choices. If Kennedy went down tomorrow (touch wood) DeLuca would come back in, that's the system :?

He's not #1 for that position but someone's got to be #2 and he's the best man for that job.

My gaster is flabbered by some of the threads on this forum :? .

Am I serious about beeing happy to see Bryan get a game Rhys26? Yes I am. He can't be worse than McLaren and French. Especially after seeing French gift wrap a goal to the Doggies last week.

Re Jordan Russell, he hasn't impressed me at all. He was weak against Geelong.

You mean the "walking piece of concrete" in Capt'n Kouta.

Agree, you may as well put the statue of david out there. He'd be more effective.

I don't think he'll play if the photo on the Carlton website is any indication......he looks like he has got severe liver and kidney failure!

Just back on Sporn for a second, at the start of the year I was expecting improvement and had him a certain starter. What happened? Is this another 'I don't play well under Pagan' situation or just not good enough. I believed he had the skill and ability but now just doesn't have the drive for some reason. Pity is that we won't even be able to trade him.

Yeah KingKerna you wer right, he was about to become a superstar  .

Fact is he was a dud pick, nothing more nothing less. If you want someone to blame, look no further than the genius that took him at pick 13 :x .

At least Sporn has been dropped.

Why do we keep persisting with McGrath?

He was shocking on the weekend against the Dogs and agaist the Cats - 26 possessions and 4pts that should have been at least 3 goals, does not make BOG in my opinion.

I feel the same way you do DUC!

Anybody can rack up 26 possesions playing McGrath role.......it's what you do with those possesions that sepperates the great players from the ones just 'filling in the blanks'!

This is a simlar reason as to why i don't rate Houlihan........I just don't see him doing anything with the amount of dissposals he racks up.

It's sad but i think we live in a time where we look at the paper the next day, see who got the most amount of possesions and give those people BOG.

IMHO............Sentanta was better than both McGrath & Houlihan last week - and he only had 12 disposals!

Rhys26................

I understand your views on Kouta and why you only want him to play 1 more game for the year (i don't aggree with you, but i understand you) but you still didn't give me your in's & out's for this round.

Russell has spent the week on a drip according to reports, explains why he isnt coming straight back into the team. If i were Mojo or Casses i'd say - make sure you get the full story before you post.... and then finish it with a :garthp:

Knackers,

Russell is selected for the Bullants.
Then again you rate Hulme as a player...pretty much sums up your knowledge of footy
