Did anyone see a fight in the Northern (new) Stand on Friday. From a distance I saw some sort of commotion in the top deck...I think it was at 3q time.

Yeah mate I saw it. I was down the bottom of the top deck and this was right up the top and a bit over to my left. Don't know what started it but I haven't really witnessed anything like that since I've been to the football (and I go alot).

Thankfully it didnt get to out of hand, there were some big kicks and probably a few punches as well, god know why it took the police like 10 minutes to get up there!

You'd be feeling pretty sorry though, there was about 10+ carlton supporters who got ejected just before the 4th quarter started! Seems like venting your frustrations on other supporters was a bad move!

I remember this fight errupting at Waverley one day Vs Collingwood on the upper level. I reckon I was about 12 and my brother 10, so it was late 80's....we shit ourselves and ran back to where Dad was sitting on the lower level.

yeh i was about 20 metres away, some stupid Carlton fool got booted out, but the crowd loved it, plus Fevola snapped that goal and we started coming back then.
