Who is the best option we have available for Tarrant?

For me it is Karl, Livo is too slow for him. Last time we played the filth, TBird was too slow too after Livo got dragged.

Would like to see Livo have a crack at Rocca

The fact that Mandy has opted for Karl says that he's probably not good enough...I think Teague on Taz, Livo (if fit) on Rocca.

Mandy deep down wants us to win, she just doesn't know it yet. I get the feeling before finding us she had a "wilson"(ala Cast away) to provide some intelligent conversation after visiting the filth forums.

That's a bit insulting.

Of course I want you to lose. Probably more than most of you want to win. But I answered this poll fairly. I truly believe Karl is your best match up with Taz.

Just messin' with ya Mandy...

It was just my way of naming another reason why Teague would be better. I'm not convinced Karl has the strength to go on Taz.

Teague is not suited to players who are quick of the mark leading forwards. He got exposed against Russell Robertson in the wizzy cup game.
If Livo plays he will have first crack then Karl if required. Just remember French, Lappin, Whitnall & co play a big part in helping out whoever plays on him.
Diggers is much better suited on Rocca.

Karl all the way.

Livo Diggers and Teague are not quick enough. Bannister is an interesting one. Is quite quick and fit and also good over-head but not sure if he's ever played in a key position before, wouldn't want to put that pressure on him.

I'd drop Karl other than for the fact he;s our best option on Tarrant.

Really though I don't think it matters, we've got to get it right in the liddle soon, Kouta, Stevens, Campo and French are ready to fire and Collingwood won't get a sniff into their forward line.

Karl has the pace to go with Tarrant on his leads up to the wing, so Karl for mine as well. Rocca will be a more important match-up for my mind, because as good as Tarrant is he doesn't necessarily hurt you on the scoreboard.

Gee I hope Karl can come good because he was beaten easily against Lucas. I think Livingston is more suited to Rocca but Id prefer Livingston on Tarrant. Although he was beaten easily last year by Tarrant Id like to see the coaching staff show faith in him and give him first crack. If he fails then go to Karl. If Karl fails then were screwed.

I think David Teague would be good on him.

Probably a good point. Livo is our full-back and should get first crack at Tarrant. We shouldn't need to protect him from the job...show the faith in him and if he fails, well he needs to learn to overcome that.

I think we need to make sure Tarrant has to work hard for his kicks and lead long and wide. Facts are he will probably beat any of our backman because he is a talented player...weakness is his conversion rate...lazy kicking style. Like Barry Hall the trick is to leave no holes for him to run into and get players back to clutter the maggies forward fifty...
I would start Livo on him and set him a challenge..Norman for the bigger Rocca ..problem will be if they provide a third tall like Walker...Digby is capable but it does stretch us ..

Karl for mine - it's time he started to be given bigger jobs.

Karl on Tarrant - the two nightclub kings can go head to head.

Karl has the pace and the height to go with Tarrant. Doesn't have the same aerial athleticism as Tarrant but none of out backmen do. At least Karl will build up his fitness chasing Tarrant when he leads all the way up to the wing for his cheap kicks.

I'd put Livo on Rocca as its the closest strength match we have with Teague or Digby dropping back into the hole in front on him to help out.
