5 - French. Played well in the ruck, steadied the ship in the last. Cool under pressure.
4 - Eddie Betts. What's more to say?
3 - Stevens.
2 - Lappin.
1 - Kouta.

Mentions to: Prenda - Developing into a pack-buster; Scotland, Carazzo - ball magnet, but needs to improve disposal; Lance - Inspiration in the last qtr; Camporeale - Showed poise and leadership after last week.

Needs work: Houla - Definitely not fit; Karl - went missing for most of the match.

5. Whitnall - he made the difference - he was Lance '99
4. Stevens - always quality - looked down in the 3rd but finished very strongly in the 4th qtr
3. Betts - you've got to love him
2. Carazzo - despite a few negative comments on another thread - he's got a footy brain and his execution will improve with experience - good to see a couple of others give him votes too
1. De Luca - possibly his best game yet

I'm very happy with how French finished the game but he was ordinary early on against no name opponents

True, but in the last quarter he stuck close to Lucas and got his fist to the ball two or three times. Most telling in the final result.

My 5 are
1. French
2. Whitnall
3. Betts
4. Stevens
5. De Luca

I thought Scotland was a very important contributor in that last quarter, but went missing for too long for the rest of it.

5. Barney 'The Barometer' French
4. Big Red - Welcome back! I knew you'd be back.
3. Eddie Betts - How could anyone not love this guy?
2. Carrazzo - Despite question marks over his disposal he had the ball on a string - love his gutsy dashes out of the backline.
1. Archie - I don't think there'll be any 2nd year blues for this bloke. A wonderful foil for Fev and Whits.

Dammit I love this football team!

Don't apologize to Fev, 20 minutes of work should not get him a vote...

4. Kouta
3. Lance
2. Eddie Betts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Archie...

That'll do me...

Sure Eddie did a few good things, but some of you are kidding yourselves if you think he was in the top 5.
I even saw some people put him as their best player.
Exciting player, but wasn't in our best 5.

Anyway, here are my votes...

5. Barnaby
4. Lance
3. Stevo
2. Carrots
1. DeLuca

Apologies to Kouta and Campo.
