I could be wrong, but if they're pumping it full of cortizone, does that mean that there's no improvement for Kouta's knee from now on?

Basically they are gonna test it again on Saturday. If not recovered, ANOTHER knee op! :(

I'd prefer they do the right thing by the long term prospects of the Man: If it needs an op, and he has to sit out season 05 so he'll be right for 06, then so be it. If it only requires an arthroscope, then fine, as long as they don't push him to play and damage the knee further.

The thing with Kouta is that we are strog enough now to do well without him. A fit Kouta will be the icing on the cake. However, we'd love to have our captain on the field but i suggest we give him time to recover fully.

Yeah we're stronger this year than last, but the centre bounces on sunday showed that Kouta is still vital to our winning the ball out of the middle. As BV ponted out, whilst our runners in general play are doing much better this year, and our increased skill level has improved the side's output, until we get some more hard-ball winners, we're not going to the elite level.
