On the Ch 9 coverage Dr Peter Larkins confirmed that Livingston, Walker & Chambers would all be fit for next week.

Who should we leave out?

Simpson will probably be one player to be omitted. Digby Morrell? Sporn seems to be struggling at the moment.

I think Houla is still being troubled by his knee injury, hasn't been anywhere near his best the last two weeks, he might need a week or two off.

Sporn and Simpson to be 'rotated' out.

Livo and Chambers to come in.

Thornton is really important to this Carlton side. We just don't look as steady in defence without him, and defenders do not seem confident. He's a real steadier, and I would argue our most important player. I would rather Stevens or Fev missing than Thornton for the simple reason that they can be replaced.

Yeah realy struggled for any leadership in the back line...Livvo's an automatic selection if fit...out of the others there are a few that struggled...Sporn and Houla just don't look themselves so maybe a game in the Bullants wouldn't hurt ( sure they are in our best 22 when fully fit and fireing ) Simmo also but not sure how mach game time he got.

Its also very dependant on who's fit next week...Livvo..Chambers...Walker
...is TLo ready...also Chris Bryan sounds promising...

Will be a very interesting Bullants game today ( I think ) .

79, noticed Houla limping a couple of times during the game, agree give him a week or so off for recovery.

I dont like to Put down any of our Players cuase we won the game and thats all that matters, But honestly there were 2 guys in the team that dont deserve to be there...

Davis and Waite were Shockinggggg.......and they continue to go no where in their Careers... Davis does the Freaky goal or mark or whatever for you once or twice and then he goes missing all game... His pressure on the Defenders inside 50 is nowhere to be seen, and Yesterday if anyone recalls, at the 20th min Mark of the last Quarter, he recieved a handball on the Rebound and Lance was all on his own 40m down the Ground, only for Davis to give a stupid handball to lappin that rebounded off his hands :(

the other player which i feel is going no where in his career is Waite... This guy is an athlete... he is big, fit and can play But i honestly think he is just not a Footballer.......he has no footy Brains and doesnt know when to react or do the right things....He is the one player who should be stepping up big time and making CHF his own, but i think he needs a spell in the 2's....

Bring back Walker, Livo, Chambers and Banister, and remove Simpson, Davis, Waite & either Wiggins or Holuhan ( if injured or not 100%)

Agree, did like Houlas agression though, hardest takling I've seen him lay.

Would like to see Johnson come in, I think we need him in the middle for clearances.

Simpson will probably be dropped. He only got 19 minutes on the ground last night which might suggest Denis isn't a fan??

Chambers Walker and Livo! Damn, gonna be hard to leave people out. Aggree Houlihan may need a weeks rest!

Simpson, Wiggins, Houlihan and maybe give sporn a run in the Bullants. He seems to have lost a bit of confidence.

NOTHING AGAINST THOSE PLAYERS! They gave all last night!

Some of you are a bit tough on Houla. Clearly not 100% fit. Next game will be #100 and you want to drop him!

My thoughts exactly. Plus I'm trying to get out of a family function just to get to the game and see my last Carlton match (and Houla's 100th game) before I head overseas.

Usually in a milestone game, players tend to play at their best, I think I'm right.

Yes it is tough BW but as you say yourself he's clearly got some problem (anyone know ) so what do you do...as I've said he is definatly in our best team when fit and fireing...but if he's not producing??

Houlihan for Chambers. He's carrying an injury 100th game or not.

Walker for Simo.

I reckon he didn't get a heap of game time last night, because he fumbled a couple of times in the first quarter, and made a poor decision when approaching our 50m line in the third quarter. He'll be a good player, but I wonder if it'd be easier for him to start out as a running defender, since this is the role he blitzes at in the VFL.
