Picked up Eddie for $39,000

I'm just gonna sit back and watch the money roll in on that one!

Got my tissues and i'm ready to go!

No but seriously! How much of a little freak is he. Not that i'm trying to compare the two (beacuse i ain't) but i think getting eddie for pick 3 in the Pre-Season, after all the other clubs missed him in the national, it could almost make up for us missing out on Wells.

No

Eddie actually tackles and does the hard, off the ball things, like making damn sure that ball doesnt come out of that Forward line without a fight. Then again, Leon is not on his own at Collingwood, he has a few seagull mates

It was so exciting to see him play last night, I sat directly behind the interchange benches and everytime he went off 'PUT EDDIE BACK ON'. My brother, made Carlton supporter before he went to England last year, he came last night, doesn't know many of the new players and you should have heard him last night 'EDDDDDDDDDDDIE!!'
It twas great! Not only can he kick a goal (which is brilliant being such a shorty too) but he does so much work behind play, tackling.. and did he ever stop running!? Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!! Rising star nominee coming your way Eddie!

Ran into Kade's mum last night too... the grin on her face was priceless. Oh and so was the Essendon* supporters surrounding us, faces, when the final sirean blew. Mwahaha!

I was off the couch and running around the lounge like a mad thing yelling EddieBettsEddieBattsEddieBetts like a machine gun when he snapped that goal in the last that put us up by 3 points.

I LOVE EDDIE BETTS

Go on....lets let loose now...no holding back...lets say what we really think.

Geez its great to have something si exciting to talk about, there's an air of expectation everytime he goes near the ball.

Can we sticky this thread please mods? I don't think we're done talking about Eddie.

Every time someone went near the ball in the last quarter, I yelled out Eddie Betts even if it wasn't him.

Oh and guess who got on TV again?
While not as clear as the Doggies and WC Grand Final footage, you can see me rise from my seat when Davies puts through THAT goal.
May have to press pause to get a better look.
