Houla plays his 100th the week after this one; it looksl ikely that Mike & dan or the Ghost may get to interview him. Only problem is, I really don't have any questions flowing at the moment.

Anyone have any serious or funny points that they would like to ask Houla?

Bit of a controversial question here...

How have you dealt with the fact that some of your peers have questioned your aggression at the ball?

What sort of footballer was Josh Houlihan?

What sorts of things have you done to help improve your game in 2005?

Etc etc

His hard nosed contract negotiations would be an interesting question.
Does he see himself as a future leader or would he just prefer to concentrate on his footy.
What are his brothers (who didnt have Denis as a coach) upto these days?
Does he prefer his hair blond or dark?
Favourite position.
Injuries.(He currently is carrying abit of a knee..and fought groin and hammies last year)

Heaps of questions to ask Ryan.

Great stuff, Synners. Good to see you around.

How about ... 'Are you or are you not a squib?'

Does he still see himself as a forward or has he conceded that he is an attacking defender?

I dont reckon Ryan is as big a squib as he used to be.
I reckon he is bordering on stardom. He plays with a few injuries and he doesnt complain. He does put his body on the line sometimes. On the flip side.. he has silky skills and he is super talented.
Injuries aside i reckon he will really take the AFL by storm by the end of this season.
IMO He is primed for it.
Super player... and a big cog in our team.
Very underestimated by supporters but not the coaching panel.
Suffers from looking abit 'girlie' People dont see how good he actually does out in the middle where it all counts.

He would be a fantastic topic to interview because he means so much to so many people. It would be interesting to see how he sees himself and what Denis is to him.

Peers or supporters?

What's it like being the only one of 4 brothers to make it to 100 AFL games and to still be playing when all the others have failed to get this far?

How has he changed since Denis took over and how does he compare to other coaches?

What are his ultimate ambitions? What position would he eventually like to play?

What does he get up to outside of football?

Mosley,

Can you ask Huola if he lives with any teammates and if so what are their bad habits. About time these guys started dumping on each other

Also can you ask him if he can recommend a Drycleaner

How has the re-signing of Pagan affected the playing group, and how many flags does Houla reckon we'll snaffle before Pagan's contract is up in 2008?

for a guy who has superior skills to most of the AFL, how does he explain the one inexplicable clanger kick that invariably costs us a goal each week?

does he believe enough in himself to become an elite player?

When Gardiner took that speccy in the wizzer cup GF it was Houla who was backing back into a pack putting his body on the line Teague style.

Might be a good question to ask him what went through his mind backing into a pack knowing 110kg gardiner was charging towards him.

This is remarkebly accurate and about the only problem I have with Houla these days, otherwise I agree with what synbad said, he is bordering on stardom if he can overcome his injuries.

How does it feel to have claimed the title "The Best Houlihan"?

Defence V attack ...his preference.
How he has changed his playing style under Pagan.
(Synbad alluded to it...)is his dad still his manager??...struck some good deals for the other brothers.
Great to see his name on the locker!
Houla is a vital part of the team and I reckon since Dennis has arrived the courage and committment has gone up immeasurably

I want you to ask him something for me, but I dunno what yet.

Oh yeah, ask him this: When you guys beat Collingwood could you give us a chainsaw to celebrate your 100th?
