The Hun is the AFL's mouthpiece - Demetrispew wants to manufacture "BlockBuster" status these days - thats why St.Kilda is accorded BlockBuster Status. ![]() AFL bled last year when the second biggest crowd of season 2004 was the first Carlton - v- Collingwood game. Hello Demetrispew you cant manufacture Blockbuster Status - CARLTON, Collingwood and Essendon* ARE Blockbuster Status whether they are 1st or 16th on the ladder. So Demetrispew you get The Hun to pump up the St. Kilda and Geelong games all you like but you will never get them the status, prestige, and drawing power of a Carlton/Collingwood/Essendon* game. |

It's funny you know. We're always going on about Goddard not getting to Carlton and the many tears he shed the night he found out he would be heading to St.Kilda, but not once since the salary cap debacle have we heard anything about Wells' opinion on the whole situation. That sentence alone has me convinced losing Wells will hurt more than losing Goddard. |
