Now that would be interesting.

And Yarran and Garlett and Lucas and Walker. The thing that excites me is the real possibility of a new coach getting the best out of a lot of our players.

If he can do that we will be right up there!

My hope is that the board do nothing for a couple of weeks at least - let some of the hysteria
die down.

Might also be an idea to review just how badly in debt we are too.

I hope they are meeting now, reviewing everything and getting ready to make decisions. Seasons over, tough decisions need to be made. Trade week is only 6 weeks away as is Pre season. Need to get a move on. Lots to do.

Given that Malthouse has stated that if he doesn't coach in 2013, he won't coach again, is this really somebody we want to take over our club. Doesn't seem the best state of mind for a new coach.

Edit: typo, 2013 not 2012

Coaches shouldn't be the only consequence of this review, however only a new coaching group should make the call on players, thus the importance of announcing the 2013 coach next week.

As for debt, I'd expect the pokies would have started to improve our financial position.

He got asked "If you don't coach next year will you coach again?"
Then the simple answer is "Sure". There is absolutely no need for him to say "Next year or bust."
