The rest are gone!!

You want to delist all these players but you still have to replace them with something better. Have you been watching the U18 Champs this year??? Good luck.

Regards Cazzesman

What about next year? We could have the first four picks in the 2008 draft. Or perhaps even all ten to begin with.

Hey Sinners,

Is it true that Lance (the inspirational one) has been told that he has to lose 8kg before they will select him again??

Fev to stay - despite having a bad attitude he is not stupid. He knows we will more than likely have a new coach, another early draft pick, cash of field - the club is going places. Turn the clock back to last year and with all the off field shit he would have requested a trade. Fev will not be going any where.

Lance to be offered a one year minimum wages. Lance will accept, despite what many think Lance is loyal and knows that he is under enormous pressure to remain on the list. I expect him to take what ever the club offers. Huge pay cut and told to get in shape.

Cazz was right you need to manage your list and we have enough players again this year that we can delist clearly knowing that they are not part of the future.

Again, what's the basis of the claim that a change of coach would be seen by Fev as a good reason to stay? Try looking at it through Fev's eyes rather than assuming that Fev thinks like you do.

It's safe to say that Fev's mental processes are pretty unusual.

Just may be Indie, Fev may think we will be a better side without Pagan and therefore he may be part of a more successful team. Would you agree that Fev has a very big ego? wouldn't you think he would want to be in the spotlight more by being part of a winning team rather than a team that has struggled for the past six years.

Would you agree Fev spits ths dummy more so when we are being flogged? just may be he thinks we will be a better side with a new coach IMO.

There's a lot of supposition there, Blue4ever.

He may prefer to be a big fish in a small pond. Maybe scoring the only 4 goals in a belting is more enjoyable for him than scoring 2 or 3 of the 40 we scored in our consecutive wins.

But there's a pretty good chance he's loyal to Pagan. Pagan's been pretty good to him, and he couldn't be sure that a new coach would be.

If we're just brainstorming, maybe Fev wants to be traded because he thinks the Board is out to get Pagan, and he won't stick around if this happens?

No, I don't think that's what's happening, but it's just as likely as your suggestion.

That's only 7 delistings Caz.

I'd expect two promotions off the rookie list at least. Aisake and Jackson.

So 5 picks in the national draft, assuming we trade Fev for draft picks. Say a first and a second rounder from somewhere. That'd leave us picking two 1st rounders, two 2nd rounders and a third rounder.

If we traded Fev for a player, we'd only be picking 4 times in the national draft.

Is the draft that shallow this year? We'd still have a couple of other rookie promotion options if it was.

7 delistings doesn't seem out of the question to me.

Why has Pagan been good to him?
Cos of 5 years ago????
Pagan kept Fev to be good to himself not to be good to Fev.

Rhys im not sure if he has to lose 8kgs before he plays again... but theyre very very unhappy with what Lance has done to himself.. (not the knee)

Look list management is list management.. all those blokes bring nothing to the club.
The philosophy now is .. the sameness needs to go.
There is no reason to go into next year with the same group that has humiliated us over 5 years.

As i said.. those blokes wont be here... (A couple more might be in that group too)

Now its up to the recruiting team to recruit.

recruit are u serious.. its going to be a nightmare for selectors. apart from 6-7 kids the rest is a lottery in its purest sense. we need to trade not recruit. forget this years draft if you havent got two top seven picks or so.

Every year is meant to be a nightmare... every year good player are being found ...
Also thats why the priority pick is important..

Like Mordain said... Aisake and Jackson are to be promoted.
There should be 2 in the top 4.

Thats just another 3 after the first round.

Teague
Saddington
McLaren are balls ups courtesy of Denis .

Kouta
Lappin
Lance have nothing more to add.

You just cant keep holding onto players for no reason.

Teague Saddington and McLaren have probably played 15 games in 2 years between them... are we going to hold on to them for depth??

Kouta is gone.
Lappin wants to retire.
Lance is finished!

Fev is trade bait!

For what....10 or so weeks in 2008?

You have to compare 10 years of service for a potential pick 40 (say) vs 10 weeks of maybe having an influence left in their careers.

The Club has to move on.

Agree the club must move forward, we cannot afford any more damgae to our brand.

Lance offered a minimum contract and told to lose 8 kg's?

I'd rather delist Lance if that is the case......

lance can still play... he can still influence a match.
lappin can still play.. kouta is still our most prolific ball winner and can still play..who cares about his age bradley played till he was 36.
this years draft is too weak.
next year will be much better with rich, yarran, neitanui, suban, hurley in the mix and whatever else comes through.

Kouta .. now how many minutes has he played out of the optimum minute count this year???

Bradley played and so did a whole heap of other old blokes and we didnt use the draft but kept them all.. and were still suffering....
