Even though Damian Barrett and Frawley are tools who asked him leading questions. I'm not happy with Fevola's attitude and immature responses in that interview.

I don't care if we trade Fevola as long as we get value for him.

Fevola will never grow up.

Fevola doesnt need to grow up... he just needs to help us win games...

He isnt paid to be a spokesman .. hes paid to help us win games and kick goals...

Of course you would because then you could go into the trade period with all the cards in Fev's pocket as he plays us off against every other club whilst we run the risk of losing him for nothing and hang on a cotton pickin' minute...

He is nearing the end of his career so i doubt Fev would want to play for Melbourne considering when he has played most of his footy at a club that has had its worst period in its existence no matter what price. A move to the Bulldogs, Pies and Kangaroos could take those teams to winning a flag

No doubt part of the clubs discussions regarding Fev would have not only focused around his value in terms of $$ but his value via the trade table.

Now im not saying i want this to happen but i cant help think it

I, for one, believe everything Gro has been saying is true. In light of this article:

Ratten losing patience with Fevola

the club seem to be getting mightily pissed off. Fev at Carlton next years has moved from an almost 100% probability to about a 70% chance and dipping IMO. Who is going to buckle? It seems someone has to before this impasse finishes :?

Which one?

I heard from an impeccable source that Fev will resign, or was it re-sign... I can't remember anymore!

Like Nick Davis and Barry Hall?

Fev's responses shows he still doesn't think before he acts on and off the footy field.

The club knows he isn't stupid, but he will always be a week to week proposition.

He'll probably re-sign, but all this talk about Sydney and Swann's and Ratten's comments doesn't fill me with confidence that Fev will be a Blue next year.

IIRC, Judd said half through last year that WA was the only place he'd live this year....

What exactly did Fev say in that interview?

Looks very much to me that Fevola's management have just realised that these prolonged discussion shenanigans are doing them more harm than good - they'd best get him signed up before the man himself does any more damage to his own brand.

If I was Swann I would be putiing a revised deal of about $500K a year over two years and you have until next Monday to sign.

Immature responses? just a guy that got sick of media speculation and ridiculous BS. Fev can't doing anything right in some people's eye's obviously. all that Barrett did was try to talk over him. Just wish I could've punched him through the radio.

It was a great interview. Fev demanded they take his call then had a crack at all and sundry in the media. Said he hasn't said a word to Sydney, the media were lying, said he has been at Carlton for 10 years will be there next year and for his career. Made that very clear. Money's ok just odds and ends. His management didn't even know he was going to call MMM. Fev and his management are now very happy the speculation has ended. He planned on saying nothing (for a change) until the deal was done but had simply had enough and demanded he got to talk. Pretty much what he told the OX during the week.

Amazing this saga, Fev hasn't said a word yet the whole thing's has been played out in the media with ridiculous speculation, mostly BS. People have made their judgments based on speculation, taken them as gospel and become very critical. Be a few feeling stupid. Fev finally kept his mouth shut on a subject and still got all the blame. No win situation in this game, talk and you get told to keep your mouth shut, say nothing and you're in as much sh1t. Nothing like perception instead of reality totally guiding our thought. All the sh1t we've had to listen too from stupid media and supporters.

Anyway, we know now.
