Agree that BB's push to get all staff on the same page at CFC is worthy and welcome. My only thought is that ALL line managers (not just coaches) should be doing this.... Fingers crossed

Made a very good speech at the family day ... he kind of reminds me of David Parkin when he first started out ... the effervescence is so similar

Article in the current Mens Health mag worth a read. Shows how professional Bolton is.

I'm a little lost as to why Ross Lyon (Freo coach) would be asked about Carlton's new coach who only had involvement at Hawthorn.

This is the exact time of year where coaches do a fairly open series of press interviews that get trotted out through the season, such as Malthouse's famous interview about this time last year that involved questions about his contract.

They'd probably be sitting down with coaches that make themselves available for at least 30 minutes, so I'd imagine the startlingly good PR coming out of our club would warrant a mention, as well as generally asking about new head coaches and the fortunes of every team in the competition, all topics that would lead to chatting about Bolton.

The strange part is why this was picked for an article. Niall's posted another article from the same interview, and there's a third article on their site recently quoting an interview with Lyon by Robbo.

edited for anti inflammatory treatment.

I've heard a rumour.
An unfortunate one, I don't like to repeat, but as he's out there now this is what I heard:
Lyon and SOS are good mates
Lyon's contract ends in 2 years.
In 2 years Lyon will be offered the Coaches job. Bolts, having developed the squad, will be told to step aside.

I don't like that scenario.
Leave Lyon be. He's a runners up coach at best.

Maybe Clarkson has a very high opinion of Bolton and spoke about him openly to Lyon whilst on the junket to Ireland last year.... Just a thought
