BREAKING: Jack Silvagni will NOT miss the rest of the season, he has a knee joint sprain. Carlton can't confirm return date, but are not ruling him out of the rest of 2023.

Walsh 2-3 weeks
JSOS unclear.

Cerra, Cripps, Durdin, Martin, Motlop, Owies all tests.

That's probably about as good as we could hope for.

That’s pretty good news really. Hopefully a walsh is just 2 weeks. We were already outsiders against Collingwood and st kilda look shite. If we keep up our current form we should be able to account for them without Walsh no worries. It would be great to get him back for the Melbourne game. I really think we can get them. Then we’ll have him back for the crucial games against GC and GWS

Thats on the coaches - we need the boys to play the same style regardless of who the personnel are.

it's on the list. the list can only do what they're capable of. there's only one sam walsh, just like there's only one nick daicos on the pies.

these kinda player's dynamism can't be replaced.

Amazing he’s been resurrected, still very young may come good yet.

Deflating news.
Kennedy and now Walsh to go with McKay, Silvagni and even Motlop/Durdin are just hard to stomach injuries.
Hopefully Cerra, Martin and Crippa are good to go but we have some work to do now.

Constant soft tissue injuries . Concerning . Co incidence or just plain bad luck ? dunno , but it is number one issue to be sorted come seasons end . Not a finger pointing witch hunt but a good hard look at it . Way over the top compared to other Clubs .

it's hard to cop. pies, port, lions, dogs etc aren't being smashed by soft tissue injuries - every year it seems we're losing guys to hammy and calf issues. where there's smoke, there's fire - something isn't right imo.

I'd say knees are a bigger problem than soft tissue at the moment.
