there's no way voss gets remotely radical with selections. boyd for cowan will be it. maybe, but unlikely - due to only playing one game in reggies, post injury - durdin in for white.

gov is safe as a bank, in keeping his spot.

I agree there will not be epic changes.
Voss needs the win.
The club needs the win.
The playing group needs the win.

Boyd or Carroll for Cowan.
Durdin in for Moir.
And that will be it depending on match ups.

Possibly Elijah for White if he's good to go.

If that occurs - we know where the problem currently sits. Simple.

I expect changes.

Last week wasn't a case of being too far off like the previous 2 games.

I think Voss will give a reaction. He seeethed for moments in the interview,
He'd know the public dont want same old same old us. Its the attitude we need to change for a start.

Durdin played mainly midfield in the VFL. He was switched on and desperate to get his chance.

Its not that Motlop or Fogarty are complacent, but they aren't tuned to running to dangerous spots, or getting ball in dangerous spots.
Stick Durdin in the forward line and tell him to use his pace in there. That change will send a message to Motlop Fog and co.
Williams needs to play 4 quarters or he's next. Fantasia isn't too far away.

Who knows Williams may end up back.

We need Saad, Boyd and Carroll all on the ground in defence alongside Weltering, Silvagni, Haynes and Williams. They are the best ball users we have as Guv is way out of form.

Whats the "vibe" on McKay?

He played VFL last week and did OK....

Surely he must be available for selection this week?

Let him stay in the VFL and earn his spot back by dominating once he sorts out his personal "stuff".

Henley beach is nicer than Glenelg IMO

Enjoy the weekend, went last year, was excellent.

Its a great weekend. I'm sure you wil enjoy the festival
You could busk at Hindley st

I may have avoided giving away my tickets for GR if I knew you would be going.
I decided to not go because too many Carlton fans would spoil it for me, win or lose.
Win and its only Weagles; haven't proven anything, and the negativity will continue
Lose and the knives are out; Carlton fans frothing from the mouth telling everyone, they said so.

Enjoy the weekend
There's a VFL Rep game on. I'm interested to hear what you think if you attend.

The men’s clash between the Smithy’s VFL State Team and the SANFL’s West End State Team will take place at Tanunda Recreation Park in the Barossa on Saturday, April 12 from 2:45pm ACST.

The best VFL-listed players from the 21-team Smithy’s VFL will be selected for the Smithy’s VFL State Team. VFL team fell to SANFL by 14 points at Glenelg’s Stratarama Stadium last April. It was the first time the Smithy’s VFL State Team had been on the representative stage since 2017.

This year’s match will be broadcast live on the Seven Network and will follow the North Melbourne vs Gold Coast Suns AFL match at nearby Barossa Park, providing a footy showcase for the Barossa region.

A mate is in Adelaide, he said Ticketek messaged him with a 2 for 1 offer on Carlton v West Coast game.
Sounds like it might be a pretty small crowd.

Youd think just a straight swap with moo. He isn't 17, and playing against a cellar dweller so I'd just chuck him straight into the 18

Have a wedding down south this weekend.

If we lose this game, I won’t be coming back.

I’m not a betting man but how the hell can we be $1.15?

As it stands, Harry McKay will fly out with @CarltonFC tomorrow and is expected to be named & play against the @WestCoastEagles on Saturday.

Excellent news all round after three weeks out of the senior team due to personal reasons.

Does anyone think it would cause problematic angst for the club, or team cohesion if Gov, Motlop and Fogarty are demoted this week?

Does it really impede us from winning our first game of the year? That's 4 outs with injured Cowan.

We've got McKay, Carroll and probably Cottrell coming in. They're 2 bonafide replacements. Wouldn't mind it being Durdin, making it 4.

Who could forget Durdin's electric performance last year against the Weagles?
Then he got injured. But he showed, he's got what we need.

...and this is what Durdin did against the top team in the VFL, Southport last weekend.

He looks like he's in form to me.

As long as he gets in and under and does it for 4 quarters. A lot on here think he is our best small forward so good to have him come in if so.
