IMO I think the game will be won or lost with handball chains (to be honest the last 3 would've too).

The last 3 rounds of handballs:

Our top 5 players are TDK, Cripps, Cerra, Hewett and Walsh.

Far out Sidex.

Like very much.

I agree.

My preferrd INS-Outs, assuming Harry doesn't play.

Williams - Durdin injured

L.Campo - Acres
Binns - Evans
White - Fogarty
Carroll - McGovern

B: Haynes Weitering Boyd
HB Cowan Silvagni Saad
C: L.Campo Cripps Hollands
F: TDK Hewett Cerra
HF: Walsh Kemp Cottrell
F: Durdin Curnow Young

I: Docherty Carroll White Binns
S: Motlop

If Harry plays, drop Motlop and Binns is sub.
Young has to rotate with TDK more than last game.
TDK was spent in the last 5 mins last week.
If not Young, then Harry has to rotate more than current rate with TDK

Keep falling all over yourselves to pot Doc but if you look at the stats, he wasn't one of the worst, actually one other favorite who does f@#$ all but costs goals. and a Fogarty / Evans combo are totally excluded. Good work!!

I think you missed the point Surrey.
The question was which one of those were Ollies.
And the stats say the surrounding players are the ones I have listed.
If you think a factual stat is a pot shot, then I'll leave that with you.

As for Evans and Fogarty.
Both are worse in kicking and disposal totals, but Fogarty is better than the mentioned in number of handballs.

I can't agree....maybe because I don't want to....or, he's got credits given he's only 20

He was fantastic shutting down Moore last week, but as far as disposals are concerned....its a worry.

Nah...not having a pot shot at Doc at all, the question re Ollie Hollands, 5 and 7 disposals on the charts. The rest are probably those with similar numbers as Ollie.

I love Ollie's never say die attitude. Loved what I saw in preseason. Hasn't translated in H&A in 2025. Early doors.

And surrey...have a look at my team above ... Docs in, Fog and Evans are out

Look, as long as they keep him in defence to harass players we can build on that.
Disposals for defenders are usually pretty low anyway.
The issue I have is why we are not using his run to run the ball out of defence.
And I really don't like seeing him on the wing, we need to move on from that.
We need attacking players on the wing or at minimum more balanced ones who can hit targets in F50.
Time to change some things up rather than continually getting out the 1 wood to chip on the green.

Put the pitchfork away Bondi. Motlop is our best source of scores.

Also, before dropping Acres, I’d move him out to the other wing.

Binns or Lucas to come in for Docherty & see if we can’t move the ball through these younger blokes with Walsh, Cottrell, Boyd & a well-fed Saad.

Also, as OK as Young has been, I’d be looking to bring O’Keeffe in. We’ve got to do something about the last couple of quarters & the ruck contest is as good as any place to start.

Durdin has the inside track, but I wouldn’t completely rule a line through Moir as the Williams replacement.

Sorry cru, but I can't unsee what Ive seen of Motlop in preseason and H&A. I know he's young, but that aside, He's part of the problem. He's another who bombs away into F50, and doesn't lower his eyes. You like him, I don't till he changes his selfish ways, (not just that one boomerang), finds a bit of pace and impacts the scoreboard. That's his job!

Motlop scored a goal in the first 5 minutes last week. Did fk all in the remainder 115 minutes, 8 touches. Zero touches in the 2nd half. Front runner.
Against the baby Tigers after 80% game time he accumulated 10 disposals for 2 behinds
Last week he kicked 1.3. He's selfish and playing like a rock star imo

He's not what you call "setting the world on fire" ...

I think he may be the best we've got, and that doesn't make him an auto selection for me. Ball watcher.

Going a bit early on O'Keefe.

TDK had 7 HO to advantage Young hit 3 to advantage. English had 11. Young was good in the ruck. He just didnt spend enough time in there to give TDK a rest. That's on TDK imo.

I love what I saw of O'Keefe before he did his hammy. He's only got back. I think you're going a tad early on O'Keefe, but from what I saw of him vs Pitto, he's going to break into the team this year.

Young is use to the pressure of AFL, and a much better bet this week vs Colllingwood than O'Keefe imo. O'Keefe hasn't played a reserves game yet. You know that?

Doc deserves a bit more from some supporters. Probably didn't want to unload like this.
The guys is coming back from another ACL, and has only really played a couple of full games now. Need to be patient and probably not his fault the coaches have no idea as well, but more importantly my emotions take over when we treat our legends with total disrespect, especially someone like Doc. I'm really embarrassed by some of our supporters, even at the footy. Doc will come good and a few will have egg on their face!

Way too early for Skull. I get that - and that it’s almost certainly a moot point given his prep. BUT, I do think we want another ruckman that can call his own number & Pittonet won’t be back before Xerri on Good Friday.

I do like Motlop. I wouldn’t say I’m all-in, but the facts are fairly objective. Every other touch creates a score.

I think we want another one of him.
