A run of injuries like last year we miss the 8
We don't have the depth anymore. Club has hedged its bets on the main group staying on the park whilst they develop a large group of under 21 players

Already two of the super 6 under a cloud

Hey it’s an improvement, a month with a hammy compared to a chronic back injury or an ACL.

Things are on the up already.

Injuries happen. Tood Marshall from PA ruptured his achilles yesterday.

The odds of Cooper Lord playing rnd 1 just imporved.

We don't even play Port in round 1

Some concern at @CarltonFC
today... 2024 B&F runner-up Nic Newman left the track early with a knee injury.

He'll have scans on Monday to determine the severity. Hopefully it's not too serious, but details are sketchy right now.

It's the opposite (left) knee to the one he hurt in 2020 & saw him miss the majority of the season. He's played 48 games across the last two years.

Why wait until Monday for imaging?

Any word on Nic Newman hurting his knee?
Could be patella could be ACL?

From Tom Morris:

Understand Nic Newman has ruptured his patella tendon and will miss the entire 2025 season.

Huge blow for @CarltonFC

Probably a bit gun-shy sending images to Bupa, just at the minute…
