Yes, Kemp choked. No reason for the abuse, though. Anyone doing so, switch off and take a walk.

Currently pacing the footpaths near home. How many days do you reckon I keep walking until the pain goes away?

Walking home now.

I just keep replaying that final D50 stoppage in my mind. The break down of the structure. There was one little cauliflower on that team that could manage that... and we came off him. I haven't watched the replay and won't, but does anyone know who had him? Was it Cowan? Sucked into the contest... this club invents ways to hurt its fans. It's incredible. Not watching the freo v port game. I just don't care. Part of me just wants the pain to end now. Port win... whatever. We go to Brisbane and hope Brisbane kick themselves out of it. Freo win... whatever. They can't hurt me anyone this year. @#$%&!

i'm pretty sure higgins was saad's guy.

I"m happy for the skipper . He really is magnificent . Good stuff Trev . And on top of that Cripps , Durds , Weiters , Washy , and Acres WENT into the game sore . All were very preppy for the entire game and should be commended for there doggedness under extreme duress . We are playing in the finals . We got a lucky bounce you might say . And to top it off we have unearthed some kids . Binns and Lord finished better than they started . Worked into the game beautifully and were instrumental when it counted in the last quarter . I watched a lot of Moir in the Magoo's and he was nowhere near it , BUT , he had something about him . Some blokes for some unfathomable reason perform better at the higher level and it seems Moir is one of those .

Great effort the past 2 weeks considering more than half the players out there have played VFL this year. Moir is clean and smooth. Loved George, Crippa and Ollies games. Pitto was huge around the stoppages as well.
Fantasia cops a lot of shit but he set up some goals today that I doubt many others in our team could do.
Young's height is needed down back but he is a liability when he has the ball. I don't understand Weiterings game today. For some reason who wanted to take the body instead of playing the ball. Too often it went over his head or he put himself out of the contest.
Acres was good, as was Elijah. Lord is tough and has a future but he will miss out when others come back.

Binns has potential but he needs more time. Avoids contact too often. Motlop has the typical Motlop gene. Just like his old man and his uncle. Likes the easy stuff but refuses to defend when the going gets tough.

Tough game to watch but I can't fault the boys efforts. Hopefully if we get some players back and we play with that intensity, who knows where it could take us.

Sat in our usual captains club reserved seats on level 2. The @#$%&! wits who own the seats next to us decided to gift their seat to a Saints supporter and his kid. He progressively got pissed and carried on like a big mouthed dick head.
It nearly ended up in grief at the final siren. The clowns who have the seats allocated to them by the club should have them taken away from them.

That was not a fun trip home.

But...

I never thought I'd say this but in a matter of about ten minutes tonight, Port Adelaide made me forget why I was angry. Aaah! :gift: :thanks:

We live.

We have found our hearts and soul in the last 2 weeks. We have been fighting with one hand behind our back and couldn’t have given anymore.

I also feel the coaches have learnt some things about the paying group. Moir, Lord, Binns belong, Kemp and Young are big additions at their respective spots, Ollie, Cowan, Elijah, Carroll, Durdin (playing with one shoulder) all have shown their AFL players.

These last 2 weeks have been what we needed to see!!!!
We will cause headaches. GWS will be our hardest opponent to the GF.

Thought Hewett started strongly, Cripps took the reins in the second. Walsh worked his way into it but could still work on his disposal.

Special mention to Pitto for the last two weeks. He makes the most of his limited talents. I don't think effort is a problem.

Loved Ollie's game, especially in the last. He was doing his utmost to will us over the line.

Miffed with you, Kempie, but feel for you as well. The great Sticks missed the lot once, then nailed it in an identical situation the following week. Your redemption is coming.

You might not be great at defensive stoppages, Saad, but you do save our bacon more often than not. Acres could belong in that conversation too (stop bombing it, man).

Liking the newbies. Solid game from Binns, Moir really doesn't seem fazed by the big stage, and the Lord is good (sorry, won't do it again).

We fielded a dusty and threadbare patchwork quilt and fell just short of beating a virtually full team, with four extra martians on their side, who had to kick one out of their proverbial at the death. We fight another day. And our next opponents are possibly flakier than us. Go Blues.
