I'd be very surprised if anyone we pick up now to replace Williams even remotely fills that hole. He has his knockers but his evasive, delivery and decision making skills are elite IMO and make a huge difference (when he is fit...).
Could help with back-up so we at least have someone if our replacements go down.

I'm much more excited about the prospects of one of Cowan, Hollands, Honey, Cunningham, Cottrell stepping up. And I also think Plowman could do at least as good a job but probably better than either Markov or the Richmond discard...

I am also much more excited to hear more from FarmerBlue about the match sim??

Good luck to him, the club has posted a video of him calling his parents. He looks pretty happy.
Another ruck was something we needed.
One more spot left now.

Easendon passed on him (probably not mates with stringer) so there is a slight deliciousness to this all...

Typical Carlton
Go for the tried and true AFL reject given the arse by 2 AFL clubs
I look at someone like Noble taken as a mid season recruit
Worth a risk and a shot
What a pick up
You know what you are getting in Markov
Narrow minded recruitment at its Carlton best

I'd like to see that too.

I have seen Cincotta do much wrong in the VFL for Carlton.

Strong, hard at it, good disposal, team focussed and reliable....a bit like Lambert was like for our Bullants.

I couldnt believe we didnt take another ruck this year.
Not to replace TDK, but to develop.

I couldnt believe Hudson was overlooked in the draft either.
He is a beauty. Much better ruck and footballer than TDK, and better Footy IQ too.

Lemmey is a KPF and hardly plays ruck.
Now we have 4 genuine rucks on our list which is my preference: Pitto, TDK, Mirkov & O'Keefe
They wont all work out. Mirkov is a latecomer to the game and I'm still skeptical. I feel he's a couple years away before we see him, if we do.
OKeefe, Mirkov Lemmey combo in our reserves will be great for the team and player development.

Want to see Reserves make the Grand Final this year, to compliment the feats of our AFL team (fingers crossed)

All being well it looks like we have our Ruck position filled for the next decade.

With us adding more outside run last year we can go to to the draft (or more Acres cheap pick ups) and look for some KPP depth and some more midfielders.

Overall our list looks good and balanced. It's just inj...........................................

A fit AFL list we should be Top 4 easily

Having Crocker Ronke Lieu Cincotta Cahill Maher Lewis Moschetti Parks and Ramshaw gives us a strong VFL list and that's important. Luke Power as Coach will help as well

Round One could look like this

B: Parks Durdin Akeui
HB: Plowman Kemp Cuningham
C: Curnow Dow Binns
HF: Cottrell Lemmy Owies
F: Crocker O'Keefe Ronke
Foll: Mirkov Carroll Hollands
Int: Cincotta Maher Lieu Honey Cahill

N/A Boyd Williams Philp Walsh Fogarty

That's a heck of a side
