Hope the double page spread in the Herald-Sun about the almighty Blues doesn't give a few a big head.

If the Blues haven't gotten ahead of the themselves, the Journo's sure have.

Good to see you have seen the light and started reading the real news in the Murdoch press.

But however if it was just a 2 page spread in the Herald I wouldn't be concerned but the TV and internet is awash with feel good puff pieces about the blues at the moment.

I know, I miss when they bagged us every week.

Even O’Brien has a one page spread on how well he’s going!

Hopefully Voss doesn't let the players heads blow up over a few articles.

Hopefully the Fremantle's coach In his coaches press conference after the Loss to the Pies is shown to the team.

In that interview he said his players and many in the club had got really ahead of themselves.

He pitched that statement as a matter of fact, not an assumption.

I have no doubt the players will be made aware of getting ahead of themselves, and players like LOB will also be aware he has pressure on his spot on the wing from Newnes and Setterfield

The buzz in Melbourne town for this clash is fever pitch.

Naturally It's a huge event. A Blockbuster.

I think our players will lift a notch after a 9 day break and the Finals atmosphere is a full dress rehearsal of what to expect in September IF they win games like this game.

As much as I don’t want it to happen I suspect Newnes for Carroll

I don’t think anyone needs to tell LOB that his spot is precarious…..

I really like Carroll but I think at this very moment, Newnes is an upgrade in terms of reliable output. I think Carroll could in any game produce a lot more but the likelihood of him doing so is not as high.

Having said that, I do think that whenever Dow gets his chance, he will perform really well at least for the first game or two and should be worth considering against the Pies or Bombers.
On one hand, I hope that Voss is managing him perfectly so that when he finally gets his chance, he blossoms. On the other hand, I am concerned that Voss has not seen fit to give him an opportunity esp given the injuries we've had of late.

One of the kids asked me to come along with him and a couple of his friends and the best seats he could find have us almost sitting on the roof.

It’s the umps that need to be put on notice.

We have to tackle the little turd, and he will drop his knees.

So how do you stop it?

Confident little turd isn’t he.?

Let him drop his knees. Stocker to go through him with a full blooded tackle and clothesline the cauliflower

Take the two weeks.

Play him fair or suffer the consequences.

The injustice done to this boy in the early rounds, particularly the Geelong and Richmond games, hasn’t gone unnoticed.

I got tickets on Monday and I could only get level 4 too.
I think I am in row S in the Warne stand.

Yeah, I too am in the nosebleeds - Top of the Ponsford.

It being a Collingwood home game, they block out the half decent GA seats in the Olympic stand for the faithful. The rest of us are shuffled off into the margins.

I don't think I've been as nervous for a game all season as I am for this one.

I don't think they're a better side than us, but I do think we're due for a loss and a bit of a reality check and I worry it could come against this mob.
