That's why Lyon is such a poor choice as a coach and never won a flag - we are slowly putting a team together that has the ability to put foot on throat.

They just need to keep working.

I really hope you are kidding , we aren’t building nothing, there isn’t a test we haven’t failed since last year … and our tackling is woeful

We only won 1 qtr yesterday and crows missed some easy shots … and our first qtrs for the last 2 years have been woeful

Keep it real

Fairweather we are on track to surpass last years 2020 ladder position.

Is this why you think a Review is a waste of time and money? Rhetoric. No need to answer that.

You do realise we ended 11th last year?

You'd expect improvement with the addition of 3 experienced players and another preseason under our plethora of elite first round draftees.

Geez I hope we end up higher than 11th. We might.

Maybe this Review has spooked any pretenders into playing for their job instead of the half hearted efforts they have dished out this year and may end up higher as you think.

What has looked on the cards since the WCE game and confirmed against the GWS game is not ending 11th, 10th or wishful thinking 9th, but more likely 12th, 13th and even 16th was/is starting to look as a reality following the recent surge from Hawks, Pies, Saints and Crows.

Agree!! so many supporters are used to our losing culture , that any wins is a form of celebration and covers over the cracks !!

The one thing I will be looking for is improvement in our younger players and if we can tick off 3 wins in a row which we haven’t done in a long time

Yeah, got to think if Charlie ever returns and shows he can still play again, we'll be a much better team. Lot of attention gets directed towards Harry.

Rumours he will play VFL next week.
If we'd lost we would have gone with that as the lead at the press conference.

Great win............Remember,the Crows flogged the Saints who flogged the reigning premiers the Tiges. And a couple of weeks ago beat the reigning favourites for this years flag the Dee's.So Crows on there day are a formidable side..............................good win boys against a far better opponent than people think.............................basically it was many hands make light work. The spread of ball winners was far more even.........In the words of the great Ron Barassi give me possessions and i''l shut up.

A 6pt win is a flogging?

What about the crows player intentionally pushing Walsh’s larynx into his spine? How is that any different?

There were so many incidents from Adelaide players form this match that could have been raised, including the Keys incident that sparked this retaliation, yet only Williams gets suspended or even highlighted. Disgraceful.

They figured that Fogarty shoving Weitering's spine through his throat evened it out...

I'll accept your gentle rebuke in the sense that over his career he has been selfless and loyal but lately I don't feel that is true. The incident I speak of I had a really good view of and he absolutely chose not to get physically involved and create a contest and this led directly to a shot at goal for them.
And Newman played a really effective game in his place.

Just watched the second quarter from yesterday's game. Those last few minutes of the quarter were fantastic. Pity we let them score on the siren (little things we need to work on).

4 goals in 76 seconds (from 3:15 mins to go TO 1:59 mins to go)....... simply awesome and being there made it oh so great.

I see quite a few Adelaide games, and the way they've beaten the top sides is just being being harder at the contest for longer. They did that to us yesterday in many respects, and got a bunch of cheap frees as a result. But we held on and, when we got on top, we actually cashed in - something we rarely do.

It was great to see us with 7 different goal kickers and a good spread of goals from across the field:
Betts, Martin, McKay, Owies (forwards) - Cripps, Dow (Mids) - Saad, Williams (defenders).

Blues players do seem to be giving away an extraordinary number of dumb deserved free kicks.
