Incredibly, didnt hear the final siren.. a long time since that has happened.. (or not happened)

2015-2016, We haven't had such a promising influx of talent since 1985-86.

Best jumper in the land..

I was thinking along similar lines with a few periods of talent influx.

Talent we have recruited last 2 years is AMAZING.

LIAM JONES...welcome to the First 18.

He has the making of being....well, an upgrade...dare I say it.

Jed Lamb is a smart footballer with class. Always underestimated him, yet believed since he was 18yo.

2 upgrades to this team really helped.

Cripps is a raging bull.
If his name was Italian he' be The Raging Bull.
Very hard unit to stop.
He's the spiritual Captain....imo

Hmmm..let's review.
We have
The Tractor
The Plow
The Raging Bull
The Doc
....quite the 1st class farm coming together.

I haven't been that emotional at the end of a game since we beat Port to make the finals. My ex wife separated from me the next day literally. Just bought my new wife some champagne to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Anyway, that was awesome.

Went to the game...

Con:
Little kids around me saw liquid in my eyes and lower lip quivering and I couldn't sing the song.

So rapt for Liam Jones... hope he can keep it going and continue to rub it in to his many detractors
Kruezer was great all afternoon
Our backline is the shining light this season and for the future

With the amount of clearances we were down by today - we just had no business winning this game:

I would love to know what the MC think of KJ and Liam Jones as KP defenders.

Jones is 198cm, very quick and has an amazing leap. He turns 27 in Feb 2018. I wonder if he worth using as a defender. Guys like Grundy and Tarrant at the Roos played their junior career as forwards, as has Jones. I don't think he has ever been given the CHB roll for any length of time.

I know he runs Hot, luke warm and cold but at his size and with his closing speed perhaps he might be better being led to the ball. His fitness might be the issue as he has never had a big tank. This year's VFL form seems more promising as he is apparently showing a great deal more vigor and aggression.

I rest my case Your Worship. :thanks:

Regards Cazzesman

Our backline is in a very good space right now. Byrne and McCreadie for future too

But the cryptic message in Cazzeman's post says get JAKSCH.

I'm loving competition for spots: If Jones and Jaksch give Plowman and Marchbank more reprieve...FMD.

and if we start having to trade KPD's for midfielders in the future, so be it.
All of them are a worthwhile investment. They're still young and all of them showing good signs....all of them.

No one in the circle for the song.

Get used to the winning feeling.

"F%^&ing selfish".

Checked this on the Foxtel replay, Pretty sure that's what he said. Says everything!

Just watched the last quarter and a couple of initial observations
- GWS are prima donnas who are so far up themselves
- the yellow maggots tried so hard in the last couple of minutes to screw us
: like how did wright not get a 50m when he took that mark at 50m and got crashed in the back?
: that free to turdy green.
: and the deliberate out of bounds in the last 5 seconds when krooz kicked off tge ground from about eighty metres?
: oh and why not 50 to charlie when mumford kicked the ball wide back to charlie on the mark mid way through third quarter - is there still a rule about returning the ball direct after a free?
- finally fantastic to see liam jones finally get the chance and turn up spades , maybe now they might find a spot for jaksch

Liam Jones......who knew!!! Played out of position for 9 years! Zero to hero, closing speed, athleticism, leap, even marked one over his head instead of jumping and trying to chest mark it! We need to get somebody else inside to help out Crippa, our Defence kept in the game most of the day! Awesome to see depth back there, we lose Rowe..Silvagni steps up, we lose Silvagni, Liam Jones steps up!

Thought we had a great run with the umpires. Reckon Leon Cameron would be really pissed off about it.

Disagree. For the most part thought we were raped. Especially late in the game.

In all the excitement/anxiety/stress, missed that they paid deliberate against Weiters on that last play. Atrocious doesn't even begin to describe that decision.

Non incorrect disposal on Charlie's tackle late was an error.

That contact below the legs free to Greene was also an error imho. Could've very easily changed the result.
