If those team selections are true, we will have 4 of our top 5 draft picks from last year already playing together in the team by Round 4. Considering how well SPS, Macreadie and Williamson have fitted into the side, this has to be a huge tick to SOS! The one that hasn't yet played, Cam Polson (Pick 59), had 28 touches for the Northern Blues last week and might get a call up soon as well with some more performances like that.

Then take into account that Weitering, C Curnow and Silvagni are all playing from the previous draft....haven't seen this sort of injection of youth at Carlton for a very long time!

I was going to post a similar thing earlier today. To be fair its only early, but to have 4 kids drafted in the 2016 draft
playing AFL footy by Rd 4 2017 appears to be a huge early win for SOS.
Throw is Marchbank and Pickett both starting the season off very well and SOS has got the last two drafts nailed.
Ideally Cunningham as a top 20ish pick will come on a little and cement his spot at AFL level and we are away.

Bolton and SOS can't get games into the young guys quick enough

This is such a massive shift from the conservative old school dinosaur coaches of the past

HF: Dale Thomas (30), Jacob Weitering (20), Sam Petrevski-Seton (19)

 The outs were definitely our weaknesses last week. We need to introduce pace, the Suns have some pacey players. Great ins CFC.

Weitering
Macreadie
Plowman
Marchbank
Williamson
Petrevski-Seton
Silvagni
Fisher
Curnow
Pickett

None of them has been at the club more than 18 months and all of them are showing heaps!

Two more years like that and...

I'm really starting to love this club again...

Polson, Lebois, McKay, Cuningham, Jaksch, Boekhorst (???) , Smedts, Sheehan, Buckley, Byrne, Kerr, Philips, Jesse
Glass-McCasker..... There is just so much to look forward to, plus depth when injuries pop up, or pressure required.

That cant be right. It must be their ages at the end of the year as Williamson isn't 19 until December

You don't get it because it's not true...
