Yes, that was a dumb as dogshit. 45m out and passed. If that was a real game this board would've torn him apart.

So undermanned, it was mentioned last week - men against boys. The "men" we have are so far below what is required. This will get ugly today. However, it will be good to get time into the kids.

Nothing from Boekhorst or Graham.

Our 'experienced' players are very ordinary.

Some encouraging signs from the kids, but the same old shit from the older guys.

The skill, decision making and speed bandits are still there. Hopefully this is their last year. Onward and upward.

That 1 meter Graham handpass to Pickett that went straight to ground sums up our supposed 'experienced' players...

Agree undermanned but green shoots best bit of that quarter was Pickett run
Charlie playing well in the middle
Rowe 45 metres out almost directly in front and passes it
White Thomas and Rowe all senior men but gee they make dumb decisions and really side would be better off without them
Whites free in the goal square dumb for a senior player
Anyway back to positives
Good to see Cripper out there obviously needs run
Kerridge ok but needs to be cleaner
Being towelled in centre bounce
Bruce is a really good forward so go experience for our young guys to play on him
Saints got away in that quarter but still much better effort this week

Not much from palmer and smedts
Department of youth today enjoying the journey

yes case in point. Too many are not good enough for us rise to the next level. As has been acknowledged, another clean out at the end of the year.

The make up of the side next weekend will be interesting. The bandits should not be playing but they will, because there is no-one to take their place.
