Beauty. Benny's interviewing Sammy. Dwayno liked it. Bolts won't be too happy. @#$%&! good ole boys. Make me puke.

Oh, and hooray for milkshake and Hibberd, especially given what they've endured.

Ask yourself why carlton had no dedicated recruiter for the last 2 years of the National draft...its now showing

Melbourne didn't have one until about 4 years ago.. We're getting there slowly..

Is Harry Mac and Charlie playing or next week?

I see Thomas has had a lot of footy is he actually playing well? How's Murph?

Reports guys?

I think Weitering needs to be played forward our forward line is still a shambles obviously we need massive help there.. SOS will be great very handy at least just needs time. Forward line is very young and has one of the big enigmas of all time in Casboult...

Both are playing. Been ok I suppose seeing it's so hard to play forward at Carlton.

Worst position on any AFL ground would be full forward in the women's league and in the men's Carlton team.

Yes.

Rodgers was given a 3 yr deal when sos started
Rodgers left 6 months later
When brodie was banned we should not have waited for.him for 1 year
When the president started he should have gone after with big money the best and secure a Darymple beatson wells hyne...not allow sos wait for his mate

Yes wright was approached and he refused

Very rusty. And very early. No need to panic.

Melbourne look further along in their development and have a game under their belt.

26 vs 22 players. We're replicating H&A interchange arrangements.

First half positives- no injuries, Charlie, Levi, Simmo, LeBois's goal.

Not a great start for Palmer, Smedts, Marchbank.

I expect it to blow out in the 2nd half if we replace senior players (Murphy? Gibbs?) with kids (Fisher, Pickett etc) - but scoreboard really doesn't matter.

Turned over to cricket Aussies in front 314 and giving India a pasting
Unfortunately Dees are giving us a pasting
First practice match but very fumbly hitting targets aint happening
Kicking efficiency about 55 percent
Getting a lesson early days I know and JLT cup but unless a big performance in second half worse looking team I've seen so far in the Comp
A few good signs but not a great performance in the first half hope for better in second
The ease Dees are getting goals is frustrating
Great goal Le Bois
Getting hammered around the packs
Not a lot of cohesion in forward line

Think Levi and Kreuz doing quite well
Not much from palmer smedts
Simpson good again

Lewis is still a prick.

Marchbank has been among it. Kreuzer and Levi working hard.

Pretty dull otherwise.

Preseason, but this shows where we still have clear gaps in our squad that need filling. We're still a long way off and need to be patient.

It also shows that the Dees should prime themselves for the 8 this year.

In just a few minutes Pickett has made more of an impact than most of our team.

Lewis has taught them the art of the Hawthorn throw. Especially Jones.
