If only we had more cattle to bring in from the ressies.....play the new guys.

Other than KJ and possibly Menzel the potential it is what it is.

Whiley, Byrne and possibly Sheehan will be very handy next few weeks.

carrazzo should never be in the team for his playing ... but we need him as a bigger body and steading voice as far as the coaching group is concerned..

personally i wouldnt bother.....id even bring in graham ahead of him.. and everybody knows i think we should delist graham end of season

Carazzo and Rowe are deadset liabilities

I'd take Whiley and Watto ahead of them both at the drop of a hat

Seriously... everyone

That game is misleading... i know were craving something...

But lets see how we fare next week against a side not killing it either...They beat StKilda by more

Think most people recognise that. But it's just nice to get excited about some of our kids.
Ground and opposition may have suited Cripps but it was a massive game for such a rookie. He was a monster. Who else in our side sticks tackles like he does?
Conversely, the ground didn't suit Blaine in theory and he was ok. Maybe bigger stadiums will help bring out more from him.
St. Kilda are horrid and we're waaaaay off but it's nice to hear the song again.

Hard putting Dick in when we needed more experiance. At the moment all he has going for him is he's a good size.

I agree cripps still needs another couple of pre seasons to develop his tank ... Until then he will still have his ups and downs ... But there is much to get excited about the way he goes about it. I also loved those bone crunching tackles ... On another not he seemed to go ok on the G last week and was also one of our better players. I do agree though for the team as a whole this game is a little misleading .. Next week will give us a better indication as to where we are at ...

Looking fwd to getting Jaksch back in the side.
Rowe terrible. Jamo needs spell.

Numbskulls on TV speculating what pick our good players should get in a trade very time they touched the ball. Hendo worth "late first round maybe second round pick if he keeps this form up".

That wasn't an impressive win.

Sometimes you can just enjoy it though.

Agree, some here would prefer us lose today

A win is a win and your always happy to win.....

Can't have 2 blokes in the forward line who can't kick and throw in Cripps (not havIng a go at Cripps he was awesome today but his set shots for goal over past few weeks are not crash hot).
Don't let the score line fool you, how many goals from inside the goalsquare, take out the easy goals which won't happen against the good teams and the goal/point ratio not so good.
Gotta nail those set shots, they should be your bread and butter goals.

Horrible first half but enjoyed the second.
Cripps is fast becoming my favourite player. Good game by Murphy.
OMG, Casboult's and Jones' kicking is deplorable.
Good to finally have a win.

Three players from last year the seem to have really dropped off
Rowe - lost all form.
Curnow - Massive drop off in form
Jamison - Looks to be aging fast

Can only live in hope that some confidence can get them back on their toes.

Carrazzo was alwaysdone.

Great efforts from Cripps, Murph and Hendo. Bell, Buckley and Docherty handy. Still too many midfield types not getting enough possessions though (Everitt, Carrots, Curnow, Armfield, Ellard, Boekhurst and Bell with the latter excused for the goals).

Casboult embarrassing but at least he has a new kicking style which is only 1 week old.

Gibbs back in his meh way of playing. Still waiting patiently to see him get hammered in and under like Murph is every week.

Not sure what to make of Jones. Could he a better CHB than Rowe? Probably not but Ted Richards made the transition.

Be good to play some half decent footy next week and chin Collingwood.

Lucky for us Riewoldt wasn't playing.

But happy with the win. Along with Cripps, who was very good, liked the games of Bell, Buckley, Murphy and Hendo. Thought BB did okay first up and even Dick did alright when he came on.

Someone else may have replied to this but...
I was at game and fair dinkum, Ellard kept us interested - he was hard and desperate and created. Have him in my best today.
Oh, and Cripps the catalyst of our win, therefore should have got medal.
We were crap for long periods.

Apart from some excitement, what was so good about Buckley's game. I thought Ellard was better. We overrate Buckley I reckon. He reminds me of Fraser Murphy.

I know he's not exactly flavour of the month but I thought Ellard was one of the few players to get stuck in and get his head over the ball when most of his team mates were wetting themselves in possession and refusing to put in a shift. You can see why MM is willing to look past his deficiencies and keep picking him.

We win. People are negative.
We lose people are negative.
How dare we enjoy a win, and the kids in our side showing some good form.
