We are a club screaming for a KPF to step up and the number 1 candidate in our VFL side is playing ruck all day??? Am I the only one that finds that disturbing?

No as his job will be to ruck as well as play forward. Forward duties will be up to Henderson and Jones/Watson. Just means we have a 2nd ruck who is a good forward.

Except that right now he's good at neither.

You either want a talented ruck/forward, or a tall that can spell a ruck by throwing his weight around or making his opponent accountable. Levi doesn't do enough of any of that right now.

casboult even not in form, will still straighten us up and take the biggest and best defender from the other team.

this will open up henderson, who just isn't no matter how much anyone tries to dress it up, is not a number one KF. He could be a number one CHB, but i digress.

Jones as a third tall sounds good in theory ... but the guy doesn't run or work off the ball, he def doesn't chase once we lose it, and he's as one dimensional as they come, if he's not taking grabs, he's not doing much. We also lack that offensive forward pocket tackle pressure and creativity to crumb

can't believe i'm about to type these words.

I miss garlett and waite. we were a up to a 5 goal better team with those guys.

Burns your heart out when you see a Thick headed, stubbon old fashioned Coach who refuses to take responsibility for the demise of this football Club!!

In his post conference, Mick Said " oh ya, I fully expected us to struggle to kick a Score, given that we have lost Waite & Gartlet in the off Season "....

Well Duh you Clown, doesn't take a genius to figure that out?

But guess what guys? Mick doesn't care... he does not love the Carlton footy Club, nor will he ever sweat a tear for it. He is just Coaching for the money... When Mick does not like a player or does not want a player, he will remove him, even if it is going to Cost the Club some goal kicking.....

And just for the Record, Jeffy had a blinder today....

20 Disposals, 2 goals, 6 Tackles ( one which included a big Tackle on Ablett and resulted in a shot at goal)....

This was one of our best small forwards who had an OFF field problem but Mick was not interested to Fix it.........

Let them all walk away... we don't need them, as long as Daisy is paid his million, that's all I care about!!!

Casboult and Tutt to come in for the injured Jaksch and Thomas.
Rowe to the back line and Casboult to assist in the ruck.

Just as an idea, let's try playing extractors like Cripps in the midfield like we did in the NAB cup instead of playing a midfield of taggers.

So he's definitely out BV?

Might be for the best right now from a structure point of view, but disappointing for him. Buckley and Tutt must come in, however.

Bingo

Could not believe Cripps playing an outside role and struggling to close in to chase opponents with a 15m break. @#$%&! ridiculous. Made Cripps look like an old man. FFS he's not an outside player.

Russian roulette tactics back fired on MM.
I hope MM learns from that.

Eagles have now lost both big defenders.

I know MM said he'll only pick on form but surely Caz has to play now.

Looks like playing on at all costs PA style is what's in vogue for 2015.

That's bad news for us.

Totally agree.

Sure play from the front, but that doesn't imply putting a midget in the coal face.
Murphy is elusive in space. On the inside he's tagged and trapped and may as well brand him whilst he's there.

He's one of our outside runners as should Judd be.
We have plenty of guys who love extracting so use them.
Let's start on the inside with Cripps and Whiley.

I like this idea, I thought that was the idea, but because we are always panicky about instant results we go with what has failed for us.

After reporting discomfort to club staff, scans have confirmed @KristianJaksch has two broken ribs. He'll miss two matches. #NAVYBLUES

I think we are a decent chance against the Eagles as their defence is depleted - Glass retired, McKenzie out for the year, Mitchell Brown injured and Schofield is currently injured as well - not sure if he is available next week. Furthermore Darling is injured and won't be playing.
Match them in the midfield and it's anybody's game.
