I'm sorry but if Casboult plays on form, all of these trades and structural alterations are for nothing because we're still hamstrung by our 2nd ruck situation.

I know you are a Warnock fan and I'm not but you couldn't possibly play Warnock ever again. He gives us nothing at all away from the odd stoppage.
Casbuolt is not as good as a tap ruckman but is better in every other aspect of the game by a mile. Kicking I'm not sure about. Last time I saw Warnock kick at goal he cost us a final from seven metres out.

If they push our midfielders into the feet of the ruck men and stay outside, whisking the ball away at the ruck contest...like they've done for the last two years, without Warnock waking up to it for a quarter and a half...I'LL SPEW UP!!!!

The big question is who do we pick to ensure we dont allow the Richmond mids have an armchair ride from Marics work, whilst stopping Maric going forward a snagging a couple of easy goals.

If Warnock is not in form or injured he's not worth considering because Maric will just push him aside with ease, and if Hampson plays (doubt it) he will jump over Warnock. Then there's the question of who is the second ruck...Wood or Casboult or....Rowe/ Watson (dont like either of those as 2nd ruck).

Wood and Casboult is the safest bet imo with Casboult as the target in the goal square whilst Jones leads out from the FF line and Hendo leads out from the 50m arc as links into the forward line.

Conundrum.

Come on Matty Kreuzer and stand up....and....its about time Casboult learned to kick....and can someone hire a heart detector and use it on that big autumn leaf Warnock who has become a VFL ruckman (just).

He kicked the first goal in the elimination final against Tigers which we won since then, but it was around the body snap....nothing since that game.

I am not a Warnock fan at all; not sure where you got that from. Our current ruck stocks are @#$%&! awful beyond Kreuzer depsite the immense talent between the three of them. We should be using Rowe as a second ruck and rotating Henderson into defence as needed.

Had all 3 of them lived up to their potential, one wouldn't be at the club and we'd play 2 of them in the side. As it is we'll probably keep Wood around for another year or two and recruit a young ruck and a 21-23 year old ruck next year.

Those two are no losses. We need the Rays to get Martin, Cotchin, Riewoldt.

After watching the replay of the geelong game, I noticed Boekhurst was knackered towards the end of the first quarter- will probably need to play as sub if he is in the firsts

Looked like he played almost all the NAB games in full.

Add that to his first taste of a AFL training workload I reckon there's a very big chance he won't play for a few rounds.

In order his game time percentages for the NAB rounds were: 62%, 67%, 80%; so at a guess they really ramped up his training at the end to get him ready.

I think he's a good chance to play round 1 if they like how he responded to the extra work load.

Warnock has a very good record against the aforementioned mullet.
