Matthew Kreuzer is a chance to return to Carlton’s senior side for Friday night’s clash with Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval. -

This was all I saw on the Tapatalk preview and genuinely thought it might say "retire"

It's interesting that article mentions McInnes, Lucas & Watson as being in contention for selection, but Garlett doesn't rate a mention....

He played half a VFL game. Surely this is just a fluff piece and nothing will come of it.

Kreuzer wouldnt be risked.

After our history bringing players too early with Bell being most recent (we know of) I dont think the MC nor our executive would stick their jaw out at this stage with nothing to gain.

If he's ready he's ready.
I doubt that hed be match fit.

..play him in vfl, and manage the time/workload.. ..we know his ability, and his mindset.. ..leave wood in the seniors to play the year out and further get back to afl tempo..

Half a ressies game after half the season injured. Sounds like he is primed.

It would be "good for the game" to see Port do well.

It is a "great sight seeing a packed Adelaide Oval".

What a heroic story is the Port Adelaide rise up the ladder.

I hope Carlton's debt can help Port Adelaide in some small way.

@CarltonFC: Malthouse: "We might be blooding another player this week. I need to check where Daisy and Troy are at with their injuries."

..only two games left, he has missed almost an entire season.... ..we know what krooz can deliver.... ..with that much time out he needs a couple of full games in the vfl.. ..i'd rather manage him there, than throw him into the seniors, which is more than simply one tier above vfl comp..

..wood to further become accustomed and work towards an upgrade.... .which part didnt make sense..?..

I see that we can't rise up the ladder even if we win two but we CAN slide down if we lose two. We could end up with pick 3-4 with a bit of luck going our way.

Malthouse has hinted that there will be another debutant this week.
