I thought it would be more to do with Johnson being a forward and McLean being a mid and therefore one not having a bearing on the other.

Mclean has been named in the forward line!

"Sheehan was one of the Best on ground for Ireland in the last International Rules Series that whipped Australia pretty badly, he can mix it in this company."

Yep. I don't expect him to have the most polished disposal, but he's a big body and the Irish don't take a backwards step so I do expect him to give 'em heaps defensively.

Honourable loss wouldn't go astray here - with bulldogs playing saints they could jump us and we'd slip to top 5 pick

He's only had one pre-season with, so give him a chance I'm sure we can bring him down to our level in another season or two.

Would also put the heat on the Filth and Scum for their finals chances if we lost

Pick 5, pick 6...meh. Bottom 6 on the ladder is bigger for me.

the stupidest thing ever

build a stadium with a roof that is facing the wrong way for the sun, so its in the players and spectators eyes, yet still leave the roof open

Sit in the equivalent area at the MCG and guess what, the sun is in your eyes...
