I hope he makes a fool of me, but I can't get excited by Johnson. Obviously I hope he does well and good on him for being picked in the squad, but he doesn't jump out at me as an exciting AFL prospect. Looks like a slowish medium sized flanker to me. The MC who, let's face it, know a lot more about him (and football generally!) than I do, obviously see something there. What weapons does he bring to the team?

Curnow has missed a lot of footy. I wonder if he'll play as Sub or maybe he'll be making the road trip to Bendigo?

You know the drill. He'll play a mostly uninspired 27 minutes then reinjure the leg and we won't see him until next year when he is a broken shell of the man we saw through the first 5 rounds this year.

He was leading the B&F for mine until he karate kicked the goal post.

Hey Mick, yeah I guess he does look like a taller Barry Armstrong. I hadn't thought of that til you mentioned it. The other ex-player he reminds me of a bit is Simon Beaumont. Not as skinny as Simon at the same age, but kind of reminds me of him in a way.

How frustrating and upsetting to see Laidler playing good solid football when he couldn't get a single game at Carlton.
