Judd will come back through the AFL and so he should.

yes and he does... but meanwhile the club sinks to knew depths....

its mentality like yours that creates the festering culture we have.
judd is a footballer.. one of 42 odd a list....

New depths?
I have no problem bagging the club when I believe they deserve it, but on this account we're hardly alone.
AFL senior and more importantly, key players just don't come back through the reserves... most of the time.

Sad fact for us is a half fit Judd is better than most of our mids.

Scotland for Robbo, and Giles for Tuohy will do me.

Pfft

Giles hasn't earned it
Games are handed out as gifts

Bell for Robbo so long as he's fit

Giles for Touhy makes no sense
Ones tall the others small

Please, in your completely unqualified opinion - please let me know qualification you base your opinions on Giles not having "earnt it" on? Watched any VFL at all? Guessing not, as you won't answer my questions on your numerous "assessments" of Temay.

Makes sense as Adelaide's forward line is quite tall. Jenkins, Walker, Pods. Eddie's record against bigger defenders - Dale Morris, Harry O, Chaplin is pretty ordinary also.

Without bringing in the extra tall, you either rob us of forward structure by playing Hendo back, or run out of the backline by either playing Walker as the third tall (which he's not really that good at) or Buckley in a lockdown role on Betts.

I'd let Giles run with Pods up the ground, don't let him be that floating tall down back as he can be, and he's not going to get isolated up the ground on Jenkins.

But you just saw the username and threw a wild haymaker didn't you ;)

Haven't seen Giles myself however according to some of the posts I read he looks promising yet has been beaten by his opponent. I may presume he still a bit loose in his marking. I am all for playing kids given we need to restart our campaign however I don't see the merit in playing the kid against the likes of Pods who is capable of doing damage and in a game where we have half a chance. Watson and McInnes should be ahead of him imo.

Given Watson can't effectively play high up the ground, I can see Jenkins kicking 8 on him, one out in the square.

McInnes could go either way on. Who would you play McInnes on? Betts? Pods? Walker? Jenkins?

McInnes for Pod. Knows how to spoil. Lost his way a bit but we know he can play. Prefer our Walker as a forward but he can also match up on Pods.

Have faith in these 3.

If the Queen Mary II is in town, then we have her covered.

white is agile and quick enough for the pod,. rowe and jenkins similar pace and size and jamo our best defender to their best forward

Who's playing on Betts?

If its Tuohy, I'll put him down for 6+.
Nothing to say Bucks is capable of a lock down role either.

Before doing his knee last year, Tex absolutely pantsed Jamo in that first quarter. We were pretty lucky.

I reckon Yarran would love to play on Eddie. But I don't know if we can afford to lose Yarran to a lockdown role - we need an attacking Yazz.
Bucks goes to that Charlie Cameron kid.

..betts has great pressure within the F50, but can be exploited by a running defender.... ..if we don't know how to match on Betts and who to use on him, we have no clue..

I have no doubt we can bring it to Adelaide, no doubt whatsoever. The thing is, I also know we have yet to bring it for four quarters. Herein lies our fate if we will win or lose this game. Watching our best this season, its pretty lethal footy. We've managed to slam on the goals in pretty quick succession, which should be our go to formula from here on in. We maintain that for four quarters, we'll beat Adelaide and anyone else in this caper.

They were rubbish up until the Pies game .
Not sure it was the loss to Melbourne or the introduction of Walker but they were a totally different outfit to what tgey have been the rest of the year

..for all of his negative traits, watto has never been smashed in an afl game (yet).. ..in moments he has been turned inside out, yes.. ..everyone has though, and yet he hasn't been dominated and he has matched up on some very good key forwards in his limited seniors exposure.. ..worst kicked on him, is 3..

Looking forward to going to the G.
Last time I was there for an Adelaide game was the final in 2000 and we won by 60 odd points.

Hope the weather is good.
Anyone recently reserve good seats? Where?

A few good ins by the sound of it

Tall Fwd:Waite
Mids: Judd Carrazzo Scotland Bell

Out: Robinson

If we play with intensity for longer than they can we can win.
Have to kick well when we have the ascendency/ momentum.

We have the forwards to trouble them.

I'd pick Judd in a flash. I want to win the next 3 games and haul back Crows.

Our current mids are in form ATM: Gibbs Murphy Simpson Yarran

We need someone who can mark on Betts. Put him down for 4 regardless of who is on him.

For me,
Simpson Jamison White
Buckley Rowe Tuohy
Thomas Gibbs Docherty
Yarran Waite Walker
Menzel Henderson Garlett
Warnock Murphy Bell
I/C; Everitt Armfield Carrazzo
Sub; Robinson or McLean
Don't think Judd will be ready, probably needs another week..
Walker or Everitt can push back if needed.
Armfield goes to Dangerfield.
Carrazzo goes to Thompson.
Jamison goes to Walker.
Massive game, could be the year on the line.
Another quality time slot.
