Did he happen to have any answer other than "its not me its them"

McKay is a SUBURBAN vet.

Look ..... no coach can fix this.

The club has gone to the dogs.
Im expecting Mathieson to come out today and blame the bootstudders.. not the people making decisions.
BTW im also expecting swann.. to cop it any day soon.

there is always a bullet that is sent out after something like this....problem is we need many bullets.

oh love the list...

what is it???

13 rookie selected players on the ground at the one time...??? :yikes:

But was he embarrassed by his performance, in particular?

a series of wrong appointments and decisions killed us..

I was happy to see MM appointed coach. I thought he could be the one to turn our team into a hard, well drilled, committed outfit. I didn't think we had the players to win a flag, we lacked depth, but with MM in charge in 2013 he would start to turn things around, weed some out, develop others, perhaps make top four in 2014. Then 2015/2016 I could dare to dream of a flag.

I was wrong. The players look confused, lacking in confidence, for better or worse they don't seem to believe in MM, they haven't bought into his coaching. The fact MM trotted off on his book tour worried me. How committed was he? Recruiting Daisy and Wood concerned me, it smacked of nepotism. The playing of unfit/underdone players, a lack of willingness to play and develop promising youngsters, both last year and this year. It seemed like MM was more worried about how he looked as a coach in the here and now, rather than turning Carlton into a force for the future. And it has all blown up in his face.

We can't afford to get rid of you Mick, but your appointment has been a horrible mistake. Too old, too set in your ways, the football world has passed you by. You should have stayed in retirement.

About as well as our 100th celebrations went - at least George Harris swept to power after that.

Agree, so....what's needed...
Timeout
Trial separation
Bali Retreat

I'm thinking self-imposed social media deprivation, clear the mind

(....and wait for infractions)

You?

Any new president wont chnge the culture.
dont look for an outsider to come in as pres
smart people are smart because theyre not dumb... they wont ruin themselves by coming in unaided and putting up with the cuture.

only one thing will help

a full indie report of the club if needed

and then follow that up with the broom from top to bottom

anything else wont work

the portrait of dick pratt in the boardroom doesnt help anything either....please take that down....its as embarassing as jeannie on the board as vp
