Which has nothing to do with him wanting to know where the club is heading.

I'm happy to run with what Leigh Matthews thinks of Bryce's demands and that's he has no right to make such a demand because he's no where near the player to demand anything.

And If I were Greg Swan or Andy McKay I'd ask Bryce Gibbs to submit a reason why he thinks he deserves $700,000 per year, what promise has he shown to be paid $700k a year and how far he will go to earn it.

Gibbs is hogging our salary cap, just let him go.
He is on $550K according to Jake Niall's article. He is WAY overpaid if this is true.

The word for a while has been there will be no compensation for losing free agents this season. If that happens, then keep in mind we've been at the forefront of arguing for the change

The AFL has to make a decision about this now. It isnt fair on clubs who have players that are FA and they dont know what compo they will get if they leave. If they scrap the compo then clubs will try harder to keep them. The AFL cant make it up as they go, the decision cant be made now after the season has started and clubs are trying to plan for the future.

..krooz did that in his second season.. ..am the first to admit gibbles has been utilized poorly, but he is one of our young guns that has been lucky enough to escape injury and enjoy some real consistency to his development.. ..and I say we and he himself have tapped no more than 70% of what he could produce.. ..we should have done better with him, but ultimately he needs to burn for it.. ..and I m not certain he does..

His only accolade is a rising star nomination. He's not rated in the top 50 players. The old Carlton was clinical and set high standards. Make a stand as a club and let him go. He's not worth it.

Been saying it for 3 years, he is so flower overrated it's not funny. Has probably stamped his authority in less than 20 games. Piss poor for a #1 who wants a truckload of cash.

I have no doubt the connection with SA and his dad had Sticks wetting himself, meaning we didn't even consider anyone else

As Psych said, he wont get any better. Offer him 500k and not a cent more. He won't take it. Back to SA in 2015.

Wasted pick...but hey, let's all put on our rose coloured glasses because of his performance in that final last year, or that he shut down Goodes 4 years ago

Thomas, with a dodgy ankle and 12 months out of the game showed more intensity.
