I'm happy to run with what Leigh Matthews thinks of Bryce's demands and that's he has no right to make such a demand because he's no where near the player to demand anything.

The AFL has to make a decision about this now. It isnt fair on clubs who have players that are FA and they dont know what compo they will get if they leave. If they scrap the compo then clubs will try harder to keep them. The AFL cant make it up as they go, the decision cant be made now after the season has started and clubs are trying to plan for the future.

..krooz did that in his second season.. ..am the first to admit gibbles has been utilized poorly, but he is one of our young guns that has been lucky enough to escape injury and enjoy some real consistency to his development.. ..and I say we and he himself have tapped no more than 70% of what he could produce.. ..we should have done better with him, but ultimately he needs to burn for it.. ..and I m not certain he does..

His only accolade is a rising star nomination. He's not rated in the top 50 players. The old Carlton was clinical and set high standards. Make a stand as a club and let him go. He's not worth it.
