Eddie never say's anything he doesn't mean. He made the Mathieson ref as a dig at us being dependent on wealthy benefactors.

And the "oh the producer is in my ear, so I have to ask you about MM an coaching" mumble mumble "but I wont ask you about that"

Pure Maguire bulldust, he's a !@#$%& coward.

hes not a coward...hes smart and hes taking the mickey out of us and sticks...

He's a coward Synners. I've already noted his smarts, more accurately cunning, but he's a flower smirking douchebag.

Don't let your hatred of Sticks the administrator blind your judgement there.

Enemy of my enemy and all that............

Can't help yourself.

The hatred is that deep you'd applaud the coward, a guy who would smirk to his face, but all the time scheme and ridicule when his back is turned.

You're on a roll Synners, this is your time, you can almost smell victory.

But at what cost?

There's got to be a way to win in this business without becoming Eddie. Obviously Sticks isn't up to it, but keep a civil tongue when describing a club champ, champ.

Try and maintain some semblance of rational thinking when it come to Sticks it will do your argument a lot of good.

(cue mysterious truncated response, comparing Sticks to anything from Cinderella to Jabba the Hut)

Sorry mate.

Even Sticks is envious of Collingwood.

Who does he try to rip off for ideas???

Eddie!!!

Look at our CEO
Membership dept boss Barham
coaches assistant and the guy were chasing to get

Nah you should take your blinkers off!!!

Once you do.. and you can see clearly.... youll see where were at!!!...

ARE YOU flower OUT OF YOUR MIND??????????????????????????!!!!!!

Do you really wish we had Sticks rather than Eddie instead of the other way around???

Get out of denial mode.. as the whole club should get out of denial mode and we might start moving forward!!!

This is a very interesting study in human hoplesness , dellusion and clutching to straws....

It is i tell you!!!

Youre a perfect example as to why were shit!!!

We just cant face where were at.. so if you dont face it.. youre not really uprooting the problem to restructure.

I see it everywhere!!!

Sorry mate!!
You deserve to be in my book!!!...

We look to Collingwood... it might take us 3 years....

Theyre looking to Manchester United....!!! Barca!!!

The horizons we look to are not as distant as theirs....

Eddie (Collingwood)>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sticks(Carlton)

Nothing to do with my hatred for Sticks... its all about results you cant argue with...!!!

Jeez, I must have hit a nerve you really pumped that response out. Lot's of !!!! and >>>> and USE OF CAPS.
Your certifiable your hatred burns that hot.

I want a successful club, you want Eddie.

I thinks Sticks is a fabulous former champ and ordinary President.

I think the club is better than it was, but must do a hell of a lot better. You want to rewrite history by making all improvements due to "dumb luck" and all mistakes Sticks and Sticks alone.

I think Eddie is a successful but slimy, You have Eddie envy.

Maybe you should take a break.

I IQ'd it to watch later. Felt a bit queasy watching 360, and felt a bit sorry for Ratten.

Thanks guys- you've saved me 30 minutes and some much needed hard drive space.

Strategic Objective 5: Financial

"Best resourced football department."

All this by 2015. How are we tracking with 3yrs to go?

Thats whats going on now and we dont like it!!!!

I hate it!!!.. but i understand it... i know what it is...

Its the other side of the game.... away from the field.

Richmond....
StKilda......

They all act differently with it.. but they are know when they have been slimed... its usually often.

Welcome to that world!!!!

OK??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? :fight:

Sometimes i needle people
or use whatever means i can to get my point across... cos i really cant see why people cant see were just average...!!!

Why people are in this deep slumber... a flower cryonic state...

happy with shit!!!

im ok

been alive for 8 flags and can remember 6

but some small kiddies who have seen nothing and look like theyre gunna see nothing..... looking at us like flower weirdos as we idolise a big pile of shite.
As much as we try to explain to these kids that this shit is holy and has a history.. and is mighty and magical...

To those kids its a big pile of shit!!!.. the dont understand how people in blue come to this pile of shit to worship and respect and hope...

All they see is a big piece of stinky brown sloppy shit!!!...

You might not like Eddie .... but you sure as hell dont like living in the shit were building...

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmMMMMmm can you smell what were cooking???....... yeah its a pile of shit!!!!

Love your post Synbad, got a good laugh and you made your point very well.
We must be of a similar age, i have also been alive for 8 premierships but i can remember 7. I can remember the 1970 grand final like it was yesterday.
I have a daughter who barracks for Carlton, its hard for her to imagine what a powerful Carlton is all about. In fact she is starting to lose interest and hasnt been to many matches this year.
I guess time will tell how this is all going to pan out.

Will probably just tip Synbad over the edge if he hasn't already but...

.....FWIW, Aker was Adelaide radio tonight and claimed that he recently had dinner with J.Elliott who told Aker that he'd received a phone call from Sticks during the week needing advice as to how to handle the coaching situation.

Jack then asked Aker for suggestions of a replacement and the three he gave were Roos, Malthouse and Ayres but just suggested to consider them all and have a look around.

Aker then followed it up with a tweet along the lines of "Expect a luncheon consisting of Jeanne Pratt, Sticks, and Jack in regards to the upcoming Carlton coaching job. Roos, Ayres and Malthouse is the preferred running order" as well as a photo posted of them together at dinner.

Not that Aker's point of view is relevant, but I'm hoping that Jack is a compulsive liar as obviously he'd be the last person that should be consulted on any future appointments.

Elliott is a fool who still thinks he has a say at Carlton. Does anyone seriously think Sticks would approach him about this? Elliott is full of it.

Mate, are you sure you've been around for 8 flags because so have I, but you carry on like a 2 year old.

Collingwood have this.
People make fun of me.
They have bragging rights.

Yes it's more fun when you win, but lets just ensure we get the change we want. Long term success.

And no I don't want to go back to the slimy practices because those very same practices started the downfall, or have you forgotten what got us into this mess?

I'm convinced that Stick's problem is that he's not a pro. By that I mean he's not on the ball all the time, he's a dilettante , a dabbler, he's stuck in the past . You can tell this by how he's not over the current stories and talk. Didn't know there was a problem with Hyde, didn't know about the kerfuffle with Ratt's and were he sits during the game. It's not that he has to get involved in these things, but he would have to be living under a rock not to know about it.

I honestly believe he's the sort of guy who doesn't like bad news, likes to keep a low profile and only sticks his head up when there's some shit to be sorted.

From experience these types tend to let things fester and grow beyond what they should. I can just imagine people going to him with issues and him ignoring them hoping they go away. But they don't. I also think he's a soft touch, for all his outwardly rugged appearance, he would struggle to give someone a rocket or single them out if warranted. He's probably try and make it an issue about the group and try and work it out as a team.

I rate the guy as a first class human being, but ordinary Prez. I don't know how we get him out of the chair, but getting hysterical and making him out to be something akin to a war criminal is not going to help.

Yeah, yeah I do actually. I'd prefer it if he were full of it.

Wow, just wow. Gary Ayres.

Just watching the replay of Sticks with Eddie now. According to Eddie, Walker carved up Collingwood in round 3 and has fallen away since. Walker didnt play his first game until round 5 against Freo.
