In: Yarran & Lucas
Out: Joseph & Russell

In my opinion Bower had one or two poor kicks, but at least he was trying to create something. 2 games in a row Bower has been one of our only players willing to take the game on and get some quick ball movement. We're one of the quickest sides in the AFL, yet in the last few weeks we've rarely used this speed to our advantage. I'd like Bower to stay in.

Joseph was poor and has shown that he is not up to playing the small defenders role. Get Lucas back in and add him to the midfield rotation. Loathed to drop Russell but with Yarran coming into the back 6 someone needs to make way.

I was surprised Ellard played last night, and still have reservation about him, but he's safe as houses this week after last nights performance.

Is it? I never knew that.... Why don't they pump it up like Indigenous round? It's only fair isn't it?

I propose that all 23 rounds should be known as 'Footy Round', where people just go out and play/watch the football and enjoy it, no matter what background/race/religion etc.

Problem is above the shoulders, in this case intensity or lack of it. After the Essendon* debacle we had a great win in the West. I'm guessing we'll up and win comfortably as i'm guessing intensity will be very high. If we're switched on, we win as we are better than they are.

Thornton comes in and plays forward with Waite to provide an extra marking option.

AJ, Duigan and Gartlett out.
Thornton, Yarran and Lucas in.

More time for Gibbs, or even Yarran forward with Garlett out.

This round should be called 'toughen the @#$%&! up' round at Carlton.

I'm beginning to get sick of the same ins and outs.

We should have an internal trial.

I dont know about this one... I thought the Essendon* game was just a one off, and that we d learn fom that.
However last night, and the lazy attitude against GWS, has left me wondering if we ve improved as a team at all this year.

In such an open year in terms of winning the flag, Id hate if teams like Adelaide, Sydney and Essendon* move past us and grab spots in the Top 4.
If ever there was an EIGHT point game, and a chance for us to make a statement that we are a legit top team, and we will not allow the opposition to beat us up, this Sunday is the perfect opportunity to show the Crows and the AFL world that we re still right in the mix for the flag.
The fallout from a loss, especially if we go down witha wimper like we did against Essendon* and St Kilda, would be MASSIVE!!!!

The sad part of it is I'm almost certain we'll beat Adelaide.

Because we'll want to... :?

I want to actually see some intensity and willingness to do the hard work. In each season under Ratts we have promised to achieve greater things than what we did, only to fall back and satisfy the original base requirement.

This year goal is top 4, we kill Coliingwood think aim should be lifted to top 2, what do we do? Play like millionaires for the best part of the next 4 games expecting it to just happen.

I am completely sick of it, and the club should be too. We need to make a stand this week, that we aren't soft flat track bullies who pick and choose when to go.

Gibbs past month symbolizes what has been wrong with our side the last month.
