I wouldnt want to be a selector for this match. Jamison in ---> Russell out Armfield with the funny coloured vest. Is the only change I'd be half contemplating. Carrazzo on Pendelbury Murph on Swan.. Judd will get tagged by ball 100%/ hope Jamison is ok. I hope their captain plays as I think eddy & jeffy will run rings around noth him and the brazilian...apart from shaw their small backmen arent that great and we have the edge here. We win the clearances we win the match.

Does anyone actually think midfielders like Pendlebury & Murphy get a designated opponent for the duration of the game? :?

Chris Tarrant just injured his achilles/calf according to Dr Larkins and has been subbed out in the first quarter. Estimates that he'll miss at least 2-3 weeks. Great result for us next week. Jarrad Waite will be happy.

Awful game. They have some real honest battlers in their team.....seedsman, Sinclair, Keefe, etc......if teams are judged on their bottom 6, we are stronger, they appear to have lost some serious depth.

Structures are still good, but their depth looks poorer this year.

Did I miss the death of Didak?

Though they're still missing Wellingham, Maxwell and Johnson.

Nathan Brown played with their seconds today, so we shouldn't assume they can't cover Tarrant.

They might need to bring Wood in if they think Dawes is the next Leigh Brown.

I'll probably regret this, but Dawes has looked average tonight.

Wonder if Heath Shaw got injured at the end of the last quarter. Looked to pull up a bit ginger at a contest.

They still hunt in packs and do the basics right.

Such as shepherd the man on the mark...

We'll probably play their strugglers into form.

Have to agree about Fasolo. Needs a dose of reality

This mob have faded terribly in both of their final quarters this season, where as we have been running the games right out. If we are close or in front at 3qtr time we will steamroll them. Bringing in maxwell and wellingham for their first senior hitouts may not help this problem either!

We really have no excuses next week, we are primed and should go very very close

Selection will be fascinating. I think they have to go like for like as team balance at the minute seems absolutely spot on. Jordan seems the obvious choice for omission but I think that has to be for Duigan. If Jamo is 100% ready to roll, he has to come in and it really has to be at the expense of either T-Bird or Bower. Either will be bloody stiff, but it shows the strength of the list at the minute. Jamo for Russell doesn't work for me. Don't underestimate the importance of team balance to the structure

Their final quarters this season - scored 34, conceded 80 (9 scoring shots to 20).
Our final quarters this season - scored 94, conceded 28 (24 scoring shots to 8).

Fourth quarter was their blow-out quarter last season, but they seem to be struggling a bit to keep up at the end of games thus far. Perhaps because they are having to carry a few more youngsters this time around.

I really hope this is the case. Hopefully our boys are as hungry for this game as we are.
