Happened in Tassie State League this weekend. Team changed coaches during the week after series of big losses and they came out and beat the Collingwood equivalent who had won their previous 10.
Apples and oranges .... but it does happen ...

I'm a nervous nellie so I can understand the concerns some have for this game.

But we're fighting for our top 4 lives so we have plenty of motivation ourselves.

Bottom line is, if we can't have a pretty comfortable win this week, we're no good. Simple as that.

Demons are selling tickets for a Bruise Cruise.

http://www.melbournefc.com.au/corporate ... fault.aspx

Let's hope they show us they don't play Bruise Free footy just like they showed the Cats!

Meh they might come out and be competitive to half time or halfway through the 3rd, we'll overrun them and win comfortably by 40 points minimum, the media will label Melbournes performance as a restoration of pride and everyone will be happy.

Just in case you didn't hear it in the other one first.

Must keep McLean in for this game. He was alright against the Roos and he'll relish the chance for some bruising against his former team mates.

Brad Green is the biggest muppet to captain a club. No wonder they are where they are when someone like him leads them out.

On the expanses of the MCG, we will wipe the floor with this mob of pretenders.

Carlton by 83 points.

Would be very disappointed if MC dropped McLean ... thought he did ok and reckon he will really start to improve if given time. Certainly no worse than Ellard or Curnow at the moment ... so come on MC ... give him a chance.

They'll come out hard in the first quarter and I wouldn't be surprised if one or two of their least soft players had a crack at Robinson, but we're a 10 goal better side than them and should win comfortably.

Robinson would love nothing more you'd think.

If we're in front at qtr time we'll win by 80.

If not, we'll win by 60.

Doc sez Dangles is gone for 2-3

With Armfield likely out for 2-3, it seems @Carlton_FC need to review their duty of care. Player saying they're OK doesn't hold water.

Interesting to see that the very week after the previous biggest losing margin - Dees smashed by Roys - the Dees kicked 20 goals and beat the Bummers who were finals bound.

I'm tipping that this will be pumped up by Viney & Co. as a "line in the sand" game ala Hawks v Bummers. The players got what they wanted in getting rid of Bailey and will be desperate to bleed for the new coach to show they are better than that etc. Add the "Bruise Free" angle to it and the first 20 mins are gonna be very interesting. I want the Geesh to appoint the Razor and tell him to watch for Melb "indiscretions".........

Blues by 40 after the dust settles down.

Might fire Mitch up a little this game, he's looked a bit flat the last week or two.
