Yep was a great night at the Crown.

Well done Skipper..... First player in history to win 3 Blues B&Fs in a row!!! Fantastic effort!

On a side note - me and the missus went 'player spotting' last night and unless we missed them somehow I'm pretty sure Jacobs and Grigg were absent last night.

Can anyone else there last night confirm?? I may have had too many Crownies last night and totally missed them...

Maybe not a big surprise with Sammy considering his moving to SA.....but Grigga??? Especially considering that others like Walker, Setanta and Thornton were all present.

Bit concerning re: Grigg.

Grigg was definitely there. I didn't see Jacobs either. Didn't see Walker or T-Bird but someone told me they were there. Did anyone see Houlihan?

Was browsing Twitter during the night and Jon Ralph made some comment about Judd being an umpires pet as he wasn't leading his own club's B&F after 14 rounds

Thats great news.

Yep Hoops was definately there too...

I think John James won 3 B&Fs. One in the 50s and then 1960 & 1961.

We went to Jordy after the R14 votes. We said we had to say congrats 'cos once he won we wouldn't get near him. He laughed and said " nah, aint going to happen". We asked him about his crutches and he said "nothing much, just going for the sympathy vote" . I said it was working.

out of interest what are his thoughts on his player sponsor? Did you ask?

Oh yeah - at the end of the count after the speeches and whatnot they displayed the picture of Eddie McGuire looking sullen when Judd had the Brownlow in the bag on all the screens

Is it true that they put Eddie's face up on the big screen after Juddy won, or are people just being smartarses?

when they put up the eddie picture tuesday night i laughed SO hard!

i also found it funny at round16 when Jordan Russell was leading still that the guy on my table said

"imagine if Jordy Russell, one of the most maligned players in the clubs history beat the brownlow medallist...imagine how much that would piss off collingwood even further when we say that Judd wasnt the best player at our club this year!"
